I just bought my Samsung Galaxy SII plus a month ago and gives me a real satisfaction when it comes to downloading applications, web browsing and specially the 8MB camera. Handy, user's friendly and the blue color is quite nice and elegant.

After Apple sued samsung 2 years back, i personally did not think samsung would continue strong BUT here they have brought a 2nd edition of the Salaxy SII which is a pretty smart move as the android is hot in demand.

Hey guys easy,i cannot buy something like S4,ONE X or any supahsmartphone like that,so there is SII,when you see the comparison between the Gs3 and Gs2 theres no much difference, lol the difference was like 2-10 secs.,a lil bit better display, but the quadcore makes it different in the benchmark thingy but do you really need a quadcore proccesor??ME NAH(see it in youtube),and maybe they release this new SII plus is to make the customer happy with its new and a lil bit faster cpu, like when you compare 2megapixel camera of 2011 and the 2 megapixel camera of 2013 or something like that, another example is the snapdragod s3 cpu and snapdragon s4 cpu, even if the snapdradon s3 is clock at 1.7ghz and the s4 is only at 1.5ghz the s4 still wins because its newer!!so maybe samsung release this to make us(who cant buy expensive phone) a lil bit happy about buying a SII with updated Dual core cpu processor or things hahaha..peace

          P.S. im 15 ^_^

I am very happy to see the new Samsung I9105 Galaxy S II Plus. I didn't think they would manufacture a plus version but it seems they did, same thing for Samsung Galaxy S, a plus version was also released, so i think we would also see a Samsung Galaxy SIII Plus version by God's grace. Basically the Samsung I9105 Galaxy S II Plus has similar features with the Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II but with some few improvements ; the S II Plus launches with a revamped design, updated OS and new chipset.

The Samsung I9105 Galaxy S II Plus runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Nature UX and is powered by a chipset with a dual-core Cortex-A9 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, a Broadcomm GPU and 1GB of RAM. It packs the same 4.3" WVGA Super AMOLED Plus screen as the original Galaxy S II.
Overall Good Product. This is sure to attract a segment of the market. This remains Aroloye Oluwaseyi Paul from Caleb University,Imota,Lagos.

mm, 11 Jan 2013OM, people are just getting so ignorant in market.. Sammy ... moreNot necessarily a good idea. At this stage Samsung could/should cede the lower end market share to players like Pantech, ZTE or Huawei. Do realize that even newer Chinese upstarts such as Oppo are already going all out presenting competitive higher end debut models. I'll tell you why. It's bad enough already that Samsung have to put out same specced variants to NA market's carriers, why compound the problem of stretching fw/sw support across so many models?

To top it all off, there's Tizen and WP8 commitments to juggle no?

Samsung can easily game the S III Mini for example to ease out the S II at price points. With their recently reported profitability, this isn't a hard exercise just a matter of timing.

"Nokia-fying" themselves with too much lower margin models, historically that proves to be fatal. Just ask Nokia at pre-Symbian Anna/Belle.

                    Why are you crying here?
There are a lot of people who don't need 5 inches phones , the latest processor or don't have enough money to buy the flagship!
This model is for them...the you who feel that it's outdated, you can move for something else.

Customer are more interested on gs2 huge inbuilt 16gb memory.
So, galaxy s2 plus is likely to be flopped inspite of Sammy hard afford.

Sammy is releasing different phones because not all people can AFFORD TO BUY A CURRENT FLAGSHIP PHONE!! this s2 plus might be cheaper or higher (in immaterial differences) than the fair market value of the S2...

Is it really coming out with broadcom gpu? cant seem to find on the samsung press. And anybody has a look on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exynos_(system_on_chip), you can see that the CPU in Galaxy S2 plus is Exynos 4 Dual 32 nm. Which one is true?

The only thing i see improve is the addition of GNSS support, other than that, i dont see any improvements.

What BS.. thought they would have upgraded the battery and put LTE. I hate the shape of the SGIII and the Note II, reminds me of a bar of soap. I was excited to hear about the new SGII news, but it only seems to disappoint. The new Sony phones look great so eh maybe back to Sony it is.
