Everything else is afterwards, even making a minor change that can massively improve user experience. If USB-C was not standard on phones today, Apple would have introduced it on iPhone 14 or 15 series and then started to call it a Pro only feature and charge like five hundred dollars extra for the "innovation"

But in all fairness, Samsung and Xiaomi are both greedy companies. One blaming customers instead of taking warranty into account should a device fault occurs (and misleading marketing), the other floods so many models in the market and overpromises software.

Call me when they manage to get a full-working Android on an iPhone. I'll buy it in a heartbeat. Until then I'll stay away from PrisonOS.
Kudos though! It proves it can be done, but greedy apple is clearly against it and against lining up with the rest of the world.

iH8allFanboys, 26 Feb 2022Ehhh Thunderbolt 4 is superior than USB-CThunderbolt can go through USB C. Its just a type of connector that goes all the way down with USB 2.0 speeds for most budget phones. Maybe you'd need an M1 chip for the thunderbolt controller tho.

Wit... moreBack then every brand had their own port, you can't use Sony Ericsson cable to charge your Siemens, but when the world agree that mini USB is the way, every phone start using it, it's the same with micro USB and Type-C for current era. Now, the reason Apple still using the old lightning probably because many iPhone owner feel they're superior than Android with their "unique and prestige" cable, it's a matter of ego, lol.

I am only proud and happy of my country and my people which invented fully functional USB-C connector for apple.
Bet apple cry a lot if they had to get rid of dozens billions of their chargers and cables which will be no longer in use.
Only we have to wait is the aproval of European union.
Hope it will be quick.

It'll be complete overkill. Neither iOS or Android has transfer demands this ridiculous.
