Are you freaking kidding me? Have you lost your brain? Xperia S is a trash can comparing to GS3, it's dual core no external memory with a screen that black looks like light gray in a fat body.
I had the xperia s and it was the biggest mistake.
And as for Xperia Z and ZL I'm a little exited to see them, when their as s is handed to them when GS4 arrives with its 8 cores (double again) and god know what extra features they will add this time.

Anonymous, 12 Jan 2013Not really liking where camera megapixels are going. 8mp is... moreBecause up untill now the 8mpix Sony Exmor R has been the best sensor, and now the new king seem to be Exmor RS 13mpix. Expect to see this chip in all new flagships from now, also in iphone6.

After Exmore RS 13mpix i think Sony themselves will be the first to use 16mpix RS sensors and up, as usual, but we will not see much improvement, if at all (again, as usual) so its likely that Samsung and the others will stay with Exmor RS 13mpix for a long time.

Xperia Z was enough, its what a lot of people been waiting for, it is A WAY OUT. People are tired of Samsung (and HTC), but the lack of viable alternatives to Samsung has built up to frustration, first came the incomplete Optimus G and disappointed with its LG ways and ICS, same as the Nexus 4 also was incomplete and had even less storage. Then the Droid DNA was exiting for a while but the Butterfly also failed to impress despite having a card slot. Of course people bought SGS3 and Note 2 and other Samsunsg for xmas, its not like they had a choice.

Xperia Z is the first COMPLETE phone to challenge Samsungs dominance, and the fact that it has better build quality than anyone had expected, and unlike HTC has a non-gay design, make this phone appeal to almost everyone.

I saw on the forums here that Nokia fans admitted that Sony is the one android brand they dont have any bad feelings against, the same goes for iOS users as well, Sony will be the preferred brand for WP8 users when they are already fed up with WP8, Sony has managed to stay neutral.

CES 2013 was the time when Samsung was no longer alone in offering complete phones that people actualy want to buy, thats a significant milestone if you ask me. Also Snapdragon 800 was good news.

                            This CES was a joke.

I mean yeah there were some nice devices but nothing was mindblowing like at previous CES events.

Everybody pretty much knew samsung was making OctaCore and really all of the devices shown were basically the same. 5 inch screen, unnecessary 1080p display, Quad Core, Android.

                            Nothing was shocking.

                            This CES was a bore.

                            Hopefully MWC will be better.

Not really liking where camera megapixels are going. 8mp is really a sweetspot for me, focus should be going to improvement of the optics.

That being said, higher megapixels should be followed with higher capacity in storage as standard.

The Lenovo K-900 is the most stunning in design and specs of all the new models.

W'll if u ask me, CES2013 did not had really much "new" things to offer. Most "new" models are "upgraded" and "polished" versions of excisting models. And Sony... what to say about them, since the dropped Ericsson of there name, there sales went down the drain, no wonder to me, since all of there phones look almost the same, they only give it a different type number and here and there some extra tweaks. Like I said nothing "new". Samsung keeps pumping out everything with the name "galaxy" plus, minus, big, small ect ect ect, all look the same, can do the same. Nothing new there too. Not to speak about all those tablet makers, same same same. What really would be "NEW" is something innovative, like those Transparant phones wich hop from show to show, but never come to the market, Bending displays which are allready working, but also those take a nother 50 years before they come on to the market. But still if they would be selling now, everything innovative, that's what I call "NEW". Sorry to say, but these days the gadget market really does not have any really new things to offer anymore. Where have the good old times gone, when everytime you bought a phone it was really something new in design and function????

Sony was the only one who amazed me. Both Qualcomm and Nvidia showed great progress, but it was expected.
I will be throwing my money at Sony as soon as the Xperia Z is released.
