But is... moreI hate androids because they dont play well with my mac or my airpods or my apple tv or my apple watch. it all depends upon where you live. airdrop is something that we use everyday in the office and so are imessages. it becomes difficult to sync at workplace with someone who does not use a mac or an iphone

The legitimacy of this Chart research is doubtful. Galaxy A12 is No. 6? It can't be. I use this phone for the last 4 months and cons are more than pros. Very slow processor, bad connectivity, cheaply made, this phone is bought by people with a minimum budget. That's why is No 6. Otherwise stay away from A12.

Also i have seen these iphones on people who are cleaners who get paid minimum wage for the country. For my country thats around 600 euro. And in US these iphones are cheaper cause they dont have these heavy tax that is in EU
And thats really optimistic to say that most people dont have carrier plan for iphones. They then need to buy them second hand or something to get them cheap.

Simple? It’s very far from simple, it takes over 10 years of hard work by building great products and understanding what consumers want and following their own way, Apple had huge amount of risks in this trip, but they took it and it played perfectly. For example keeping iOS only for themself could have gone wrong very badly and Android could have owned the whole market. But instead Apple is owning the market they want and Android got leftovers.

Well, is been like this for couple of years already. But is also simple when you have just few models released in 1 year and you practically release them Worldwide in the same manner.
Android is too much divided and Chinese companies are making it even worse, when they release models just for certain markets. Of course, you can buy it online from other country, but is not the same thing.
But still, Android phones has some positive things too. I like the super fast charging speeds, the cheap prices (at least until 2021) for good mid-range phones, very nice battery endurance (with the exception of Pro Max models, iPhones have average battery endurance), flexibility of the OS when paired with something like a Windows laptop.
I like both of them, depending on the things you want to achieve from your phone.

Not true. There’s lot more than few. Maybe you are talking about US where buying phones with carrier plan is big thing. I don’t know if that’s a thing anywhere else? I always pay full price for my iPhone and i know others who do it too. Those who usually pay only part of their phone tend to buy the cheaper iPhones, they are the ones who want iPhone but can’t really afford them paying full price. People who buy pro models likely have more money to spend and many of them pay it day one, just like i always do.

[deleted post]Most people cant afford iphones cause they still buy iphone and then have a contract for 24 months to pay it each month. Pay the first 100 euro to the phone and then each month pay 60 euro or something like that for the contract or get the phone "for free" with a 60+ euro per month contract. There are very few people in the world who buy ipohone out with the 700-1500 euro paid full in day 1. Same with Android flagship as people are leasing them for 12-24 months and some even 36 months while in these long period pay 2 times the phone price.
I buy under 250 euro phones cause i buy them out in the first day so i own the phone and dont leas it. All this type of talk of cant afford is beyond dumb to say and complain about. Iphone is like a fashion trend to show off that you have money even tough you dont have but you just need to show your self as image even tough you struggle to pay the pills for the phone just to brag in comments to others that you cant afford to buy them and so on.
Thats just show that your so dumb and dont understand how world works or how your own life works or how to live it. It's just a communication device so your not missing out on anything if you go with low end Android phone. But i understand that your image is more important so you need to have the most expensive bling in your pocket to show off and then look down on others

They have smaller batteries and can have also defective hardware on some phones. Just like you can get form Android phones. They just have the 5 years software support that makes them better over Android brands. There is no time limit on even low end android phones that will stop them work in 2 years like printers that have like 5000 print limit built in chip. My phone is close to 4 years old already and it was 170 euro only on release day and still working without any problems.
It's all about the end user how they use there phone that will last for so long. For heavy users not even Iphones will last over 3 years when they charge the phone like 2 times in a day cause they basically live in the phone

Also there are a lot of people who use one phone from Android for 4 plus years too. I am one of the examples who has Redmi note 5 Pro that was released around April 2018 while the difference is that the phone for me cost only 170 euro and i had it as pre-order

The only things good with apple is resale value locked ! Bad : restricted appstore, productivity wise, even the apple watch pale in comparison to chinese brand / Wear Os or samsung, watch Autonomy, can't even detect when you're sleeping! Even fanatical Apple moving away from Apple. The only things : they're good for is their Camera and stealing things from others brand, hardware, products!

Funny part, only Android phones which got in the list are cheap phones. Android just isn't flagship quality OS and more and more people have noticed it.
Most people who buy Android buy it because they can't afford iPhone.
