The article itself says Samsung are paying the price, but what happens when customers have been shafted by Apple? If you have your handset on a contract then you are at their mercy.
The Android space is still producing fantastic handsets as well. My last three have been from Oneplus, Huawei, I'm currently using an Oppo and there are some great offerings coming along soon like the Honor Magic 4 Ultimate, Xiaomi 12 Ultra and even the new Pixel 6 is decent. If it turns out one of them is a huge let down then no worries - I can take my money to another company :)

And herein lies one of the major benefits of the Android ecosystem; if you don't like what one manufacturer does, go elsewhere. Whereas with Apple, you're stuck with whatever manure they dish up.

Do I smell an iPhone copycat????OOOO how the mighty have fall...Only few years back android users where all over the ios users cuz of the battery thingy apple did....Now ,now dear android users....how can this be with all this options you have overthere at android camp???I am not a hater...But I dont get why ppl jump allover ios when things happen and no1 when android does it....Its ok for some and not ok for others?I mean lets face it android/ios no matter all wanna make a profit and all wanna offer top notch performance or make you change phone on year base....So if ppl havent got it so far...iOS or Android its the same ruled by profit and not better or cheaper.....If Apple could sell us a phone for 10k euros they would if they would know it will sell same goes for Android...The only thing is no1 would buy it(by no1 I mean it would be in the range of hundreds or thousands)

the problem with Samsung is that they continuously cheat their customers while trying to compete with apple, but apple are actually testing and working to improve their products such as battery optimisations etc.
Samsung is making so much money but they are not improving their products, they have a few superb products like secret folder, pop up view split view etc and now they nee to research how to optimise google battery optimisation samsung apps are useless please give the option to delete them.
lastly they had a brilliant feature where we could choose the default apps we wanted to use but in new software updates thats gone and they keep pushing their shit apps on us
they need to understand we use android because we can choose the apps to use otherwise we would all use apple because it works perfectly.
Samsung are just cheating their customers and they think their customers are stupid but 1 day it will all catch up on them and it nearly did when huawei came out with their brilliant phones which where really well optimised.
Samsung were lucky otherwise they would have lost a huge market share i recommend samsung do some work and actually improve their products before its too late!

It's basically throttled all the time to prevent performance drops which is fine except for Genshin Impact which seems to have it at a stable 47-49fps. It just isn't known if it whitelist benchmark stuff.

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2022Is A52 affected? I've not noticed any issue or slowdown.On my A52s, Genshin Impact Google Play version constantly stutters which looks like 30fps with GOS enabled. The Galaxy Store version doesn't seem to be affected. I have "focus on performance" enabled, yet it makes no difference. It only gets faster on the google play version if I kill GOS and go back to the game.

Latest update screwed up S22 series, I'm gonna to return this brick as it lags with Bluetooth and YouTube audio vs video. Good job Samsung
