The Realme GT Neo3 will have a dedicated chip that boosts frame rate in games

18 March 2022
It will do MEMC to offer a higher frame rate than the Dimensity 8100 can do naturally, going up to 120fps in certain games.

I wonder why they didn't use LPDDR5X since Dimensity 8/9000 is the first to support this high speed RAM?!

Why it doesn't support WiFi 6E!!
Why Chinese phones still use ancient USB 2.0!!!

What a waste of a great processor.

IpsDisplay, 18 Mar 2022This is the final nail in the coffin for the 8 gen 1 T... more55fps on low resolution. Useless.

This is the final nail in the coffin for the 8 gen 1

The 8100 is already proven to defeat the 8 gen 1 in peak performance AND sustainable performance FPS in games

Add that to the fact that the 8100 runs on Snapdragon 6 series energy plus this phone is running a dedicated frame rate chipset...

The k50 is already getting 55-57fps on genshin...

GG Qualcomm better luck next year 2023

Imagine if red magic or Lenovo added active cooling to the 8100 or 9000 my god what a masterpiece they would be

So: we got a chip for camera, a chip for frame rates. What's left for Qualcomm &co to do? Why do we even need scores over 500k on antutu, when more half of the big load is taken?

Some iqoo phone from last year had a similar feature

If this is truly interpolation, not extrapolation, then this would be an issue for latency. It would require to render one frame ahead to get the interpolated frames. This is not what mobile gaming needs.

              Innovation from China again.
