This phone is good only... moreI guess Redmi is trying to make out a profit out of old stocks of G96, it might be an agreement and part of the deal between mediatek ,to get first dibs on the newer 8100 and 9000 series as long as Redmi purchase a batch of G96, haha. Hoping this trend will end and usher the newer 4nm chips for 2022 - 2023.

I was expecting this should get the 920 to make it more competitive with its realme counterparts.

        If a newly released phone goes into discount very quickly, that means its not doing well sales numbers. Xiaomi should learn that releasing a phone that is DOWNGRADE compared to its predecessor (Note 10 Pro) is DUMB idea.

                considering it's 8/128GB, not too expensive than note 8 pro with 8/128GB for $250 in the past. and note 8 pro doesn't have expensive AMOLED screen.

                  This phone is good only for non-geeks that would be amazed by its crazy high numbers like 108MP camera,Super fast charge.

                  But in reality this phone is a really stupid choice for asked price.

                      The problem with mediatek chips is not with day to day usage, but rather for people who are into custom ROMs, camera mods etc.

                      Also emulations run better on Snapdragon chips, atleast in my experience
