Current phone is the Realme GT Neo Flash, it's a brilliant phone, I've just ordered the GT Neo3. I don't really need anything faster, but this resale value on mine is only about 20% less than what I'll be paying on this one. The camera is better, the charging is faster, looking forward to it.

Few months ago, I had a similar problem. Was about to buy a ferrari, but then found out that it doesn't have cup holders. So I bought vw polo instead.

And of all I said you took one thing out of context and commented on it. Even your argument is completely irrelevant when even Apple and Google jump to 50 and 48mp.

The first enemy of all chinese brands is their fan boys. I use a Xiaomi myself but I'm aware of my device's limitations and why it costs what it costs. There's no need to belittle/diss any other brands just to validate people's choice of device. Expecting every brand to do the same thing obliterate the very meaning of having all the choice of brands we do now. Grow up, choose whatever device you want, spend whatever you want and be happy with it.

                  Best value for money...

8100 will probably be the best soc of 2022!
                  Peak power of SD888
But with the stability and the efficiency of SD865!...will probably beat some devices with 8 gen 1 in term of sustained performances!

                  No wasted money on WQHD+

No sacrifice on main camera. IMX766 with OIS is great!

                  My favorite is 5000mAh/80W

I prefer this one over K50 and K50 Pro.
I will keap my OnePlus Nord 2, but I love this GT Neo 3!

I love super fast charging or ultra fast charging. It will reduce waiting boring time.
                    :-)

blue, 28 Mar 2022I mentioned Xiaomi intentionally, because it shows exactly ... moreYou act like Samsung and apple bring new innovations with every phone they bring out, are you serious? the smartphone market isn't 2-3 years old it's 15 years old tell me what does Samsung, apple show in terms of future technologies?, nothing exactly, Chinese companies are leading the pack in this arena with them demoing new technologies almost every Ces,mwc while yes, a fair amount of this/most of this will take a while or even never reach consumers,it at least shows that they are looking for new ways to push the industry forward. Samsung and apple are giving you nothing in terms of new tech(if you count foldables the oppo find n is a great competitor,so that doesn't really count)
Secondly, then what you do mean by important features? If you can't clarify then the argument is useless.
Your third point, fair enough but when Chinese companies bring extended support to the mid range it's going to be a useless argument.
You still need to give me a sensible argument on 2 points so no I don't think I have no cards left, if you can't hold apple and Samsung to the same level of scrunity as Chinese companies you're just biased nothing else.

blue, 28 Mar 2022Sorry, kid, but none of the things you mentioned are create... moreNot commenting the rest, but the camera argument is wrong: just use the photo comparison tool here on gsmarena and compare the old 64mp realme 7 pro in good light conditions vs the 12mp iphones, even the newest ones, and let's see if you still won't see more detail... There is a lot more text readable on the realme.

Or even compare the nightmode shots in the reviews, the realme 9 pro+ as well as the xiaomi mi 11 ultra really do look amazingly good.

So they really implement their high resolution sensors right, sadly not very consistent with some models, fair enough.

I actually will go for an Xperia flagship, if there is no other choice left, because they at least keep these features. But that means missing out on other features, like adjustable flashlight brightness, a basic feature available since nearly a decade ago on samsungs or a higher resolution image sensor. See, there would be less to compromise to make if the industry wouldn't adapt apple-like anti-consumer trends. So there would be more feature-rich devices available. You are absolutely clueless on how variable use cases can be, just like most phone manufacturers nowadays sadly... What if i want to add a 2TB microSD in three years instead of just buying another new device which most likely won't offer this amount of internal storage. What if I want to easily swap the microSD to a new phone, with all the media files on it, without waiting ages for the 2 TB to sync?

It's just all about profit now for them... And you simpletons still don't notice it because you're satisfied with half-baked products and getting ripped off by profit optimizations from corporations. Enjoy charging your 5000 mah samsungs with your old 5 watt charger, because new fast chargers not included in the box and stuff... Generating additional waste by seperate packaging and "affording" the newest throwaway products every year...

I had to set a few apps such as my banking app, Mi Band Tools and Messenger to autostart and to run in the foreground in order for notifications to reliably come through. Locking them to the recent apps menu is another option. Stock Android has no option to lock apps and is far uglier than RealmeUI.

No card slot, no headphone jack, no usb 3. Cold as hell. I can get around no jack these days but a phone with no card slot and no fast usb is a brick for any real work.

We have 12 weeks of the year and Xiaomi already gave us 21 phones, nearly two per week. Other chinese brands as well. What's the innovation they bring? Zero.
And blabbing about jack or microSD? Which century did you remain in? These are unimportant these days. No, that's really not what I am talking about.
And yes, exactly, chinese brands offer some support for the most expensive models. Samsung for all of them. Really, you have no cards in your hand, give up.

Samsung and Apple have over 43 % of the market just by themselves, so how can two thirds of the market be chinese? With Sony and Nokia they do nearly 50 %.

Most of these things were made by LG, Samsung or Sony, just being bought by chinese who think "more is better". No, it is not. Several of their phones have shown us that they can't work with high resolution cameras, even 12 MPix Apple cameras were a class better.
Still talking about market share and sold pieces, who cares? Do you think Apple or Samsung care, when they each sell twice the value of all chinese together?
