Yeah, the brazilian PROCON(consumer protection) is perhaps the fiercest in the world. They even sued apple for not including the charger.

Brazil was a big law. they do not allow to remove charger for its product, they also doesn't care about no e-waste. as know Apple has been fined by Brazilian Government for $2m for not including charger (March 2021)

Apple was sue in Brazil some years ago for removing charger and headphones from the box and banned all iPhone sales in the country until Apple remediate the problem, Samsung learned from that and don't want to lose millions, Samsung will offer charger in France as well maybe Italy to.

Not a good look on Samsung reputation. This just means Samsung can include charger in the box, but chose not to as a way to increase profits. All that 'save the environment' yadda yadda is just convenient excuse.

Not including a charger is just a new move to lower cost and sell more expensive phones to increase margins.

This trend of not including the chargers "in da box" must end. It doesn't make sense. If a new smartphone comes out advertising 80W fast charging but doesn't include the charger "in da box", how can we benefit from that using an old charger at home? Oh we must buy the separate charger right? So where's the environment protection? None. But there's more money for their pockets sure....
