If they launch it with Android 12 with 4 year software support at about $550 it will be great. That's the only reason I can see them launching a 2022 version for.

500 eur is still way too much considering the fact manufacturing price is up to 300.
For 350 it should sell well for 500 is just more E-Waste.
K50 gaming by xiaomi cost bit less and its way more specced.
Same goes for many Poco models and some Realme models etc.
Even Moto G100 for 300 bucks is way more powerfull and with much less bloatware.

... moreThat's because you're comparing a discounted phone that was released in Q4 2020 to a phone that was released in January 2022, in my country the S20 FE(SD865) launched for 650€ and the S21 FE(SD888) for 750€.
Does the SD 888, smaller bezels, Android 12 out of the box, Gorilla Glass Victus make it not worth the extras?
Yeah, the S20 FE will be easier to buy today with the price cuts, but the S21 FE is still the superior phone of the two.

The other phones with SD 888 and 8 Gen 1 etc, probably sucks in everything except the SoC, a phone isn't just the SoC and fast charging, are there only mobile gamers on this site or what?

In my country you can grab a S20FE 5G (the original model) with 400€. Better price and if I might say, is the only Samsung phone I could recommend right now. Maybe also the A52s, but that one is more a mid-range phone.
