It would be a pity to see Nokia disappear totally.
They would have been a lot better off with joining the Android crowd, than with Microsoft.

Symbian is the best software, like android,
It is not important matter Symbian or android, it should support all application. This is important things.

Time moves on and so does development. Unfortunately, Symbian had developed to a stage where it was no longer able to keep up with todays behemoths. It will still go down in mobile history as carving the way for these new OS's to expand.

One thing that needs to be taken away frfom this is at the time, it was the most developed OS for a mobile phone, and many thought it couldn't get better. Try comparing it to the likes of what we have today and it seems miniscule in efficiency, but not in contribution.

Todays OS's will also do the same for future OS's as Symbian did for them. Who knows, Firefox may one day overtake iOS as the more developed OS within our telecommunicational world?

such a pity to see such a capable platform go to the dogs. i've witnessed nokia's pass from the user oriented OS to WP's dictatorship. The C6 that I traded in for Lumia 800, makes me feel like passing from the forest to a prison where only some moves are allowed. This is the moment Nokia should have learned that it takes that extra mile to make something work, not just outsource it and seek for an easier solution. If they keep doing business like this, I don't see them good in the long run.
