They both have some features that are only found on one OS so I just buy the best of both worlds nd use two smartphones

I know it's very money wasting but I use a s22 ultra nd 13 pro max

[deleted post]Where does one get the 'pure android experience' these days. Pixel has a significant skin as does OnePlus. Maybe Sony$$$$? Motorola maybe but not much for updates.

I was hoping Nothing phone would have an 888 or the latest Gen 1 plus but the India version will be a 778G from what I read.

Anonymous, 17 May 2022Maybe one day we'll get a usable Wallet like Apple... moreWe already hv one! Called Gpay!

Apple also released WatchOS 8.6. They seem to release updates for all their devices at once, so if you see iOS update, you can check WatchOS too because it's almost certain it'll have update available too.

'the Apple Podcasts app includes a new setting to limit episodes stored on your device and automatically delete older ones.'

Ok, am I the only one who thought this was always a feature??? Only asking as I seem to remember always setting my podcasts to only download the most recent 5 episodes of any channels I followed!

Anonymous, 17 May 2022Maybe one day we'll get a usable Wallet like Apple... moreGoogle renamed Pay to Wallet (why Google...) and they are adding a ton of extra functionality to it in a short time.

Question is more if it will work on all non Samsung and non Pixel phones, I never got Google Pay working with my phone just because Google is a idiot and "didn't support my device" (because it didn't matter I ran A11 at the time for them)

Anyhow while Apple Wallet works great, Google is capable of doing the same thing, the only reason they did not is because it's Google, and they prefer to focus on stuff like "A12 it's accent colours changing to your wallpaper" thing.

Luckily someone did finally read the memo, Google Wallet seems like a solid step up to Google Pay.

"Additionally, an issue where home automations may fail when triggered by people arriving or leaving is now fixed."
                      Finally!
Apple Support got extensive logs and such on 06. April from me.
A few days later it arrived at higher tier engineering, they sure took their time to fix it.
