Guys, you can run google apps on Huawei devices anyway on gspace running a virtual os in the background in 5mins time. Or safe apk files from trusted apk providers.

The only downside of huawei is that they can't produce and their Kirin anymore. Anything else is liveable if not very good already.

Is very hard to use a phone without Google services. Not only you risk more by installing apps from outside App Gallery (a thing even Huawei informs you about, when you want to do this), but the actual apps that you can download from App Gallery are inferior to Google ones (Maps, Translate, Photos, etc.).
Also, I don't know if Huawei wants to copy Apple, but the way they are asking a Huawei ID for accessing the good stuff on the phone is not particular nice when you just want to have a Google type experience. Yeah, Xiaomi or Samsung also asks you for accounts on their phones, but is mainly theoretical. The phones are 95% usable just with a Google account.

They can't be competitive in the short term with the hardware restriction. In other businesses though, they have done remarkable well given the constraints they are operating under.

i hope it will get a telephoto module like nova 7. honor for example returned to telephoto with honor 70 pro.
