Because people in these area were believe in western mefia narrative that only Apple is the best. In lots of other countries apple have market share as low as 0.3%.

Xiaomi, oppo, vivo & Huawei flagship sold very well.
In Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia we just don't care about iphone or samsung. We really care about the product.

Apple started the other wa... moreit's not all about smartphones. people think twice when buying a chinese automotive spare part, a musical instrument or even a cloth. they simply made themselves a low quality, cloning and unregulated market. china has very low production costs. they have one of the cheapest engineers in the world. so,even if they produce a premium product,it costs much less then any competitiors. selling them so expensive is just being greedy and that won't work outside of china.

That's the only way these chinese oems can compete with the likes of Apple and Samsung. Of course having these camera brands with your brand name will not be cheap.

Apple started the other way around and now has a foothold when it comes to premium devices. So when these brands like Xiaomi etc try to make premium devices, with premium price tags of course, the people will not buy. They'd rather get a premium product from known brands like Apple and Samsung. So how are these brands going to beat the duopoly of Samsung and Apple when they make their sales thru their budget and mid range line?

Will they make their miui allow 3rd party launcher with full gesture on their miui? Other companies like oneplus does but xiaomi has always been lazy when ask support claims since android default didn't add they won't be adding it. I had to buy a full gesture app in playstore to use nova launcher in their poco series

No need to show them love if they don't even bother to release outside China now that they are 'big' (Or wanted to be more) in China. Sad for us, EU/American but let's not forget when they come back and don't just jump on their new model. Let them roster a bit.

It's already using ARM A710/A510, but didn't force the speed too much (optimized on battery)
I really hope to see more 7Gen1 too.
