I sincerely hope Samsung dont repeat the charging issue's that have befallen many S3's (mine included)..wont charge when in use, charges slowly etc etc (chk xda devs forum - pages of ppl with these issues)

Also hope they cure the colour clipping - Supercurio was meant to realase a fix for this - it hasnt come yet, think he's keeping it for himself.

Also Samsung - PLEASE make the stock email app a bit more bloody nice on the eye - black and grey is bloody awful.

I've actually got myself an iPhone 5 jalilbroken, and that bad boy charges up fast.

Anyway, if the S4 lives up to the hype - i hope it does, i may come back. Rant over.

what's the point of 8 cores on a phone computers are more graphic intense machines when it comes to gaming and they don't even have 8 cores in a phone that's just useless tech and ppl say that it will b a power efficient chip they can do that with a quad core processor instead of a 8 core that's not really needed because there's no mobile app out there that will make the phone use the 8 cores

Samsung must produce the greatest smartphone ever made!, so just waiting for the great galaxy s4!!!!!!!!!!!!

This time the battle is extremely hard more then ever before for Samsung, with this great flagships, now and on the pipeline, flagships like Sony Xperia Z,HTC M7,LG Options G pro, i phone5s or 6, ASUS and so on!.so if Samsung wants (obviously), to remain the greatest in smartphones, they must really work harder then ever before!.so came on Samsung produce the greatest smartphone ever made! (Hardware and software) the galaxy s4!

hmmm. if the specs are what thyre rumoured to be then im not excited in the least. this is already here. htc and others released phones like this ages ago. ive got an s2 and will be near the end of my 2 year contract in may. i keep myself informed about new phones and when S3 was released and it wasnt the first with the specs it had. i was dissapointed. if samsung want to stay on top they need to be the first and the best. thats why galaxy s2 was so popular. my brother and dad have an s3 and its a good phone but considering how everyone looks forward to the next flagship its gotta do better. the only thing so far that is new and wont be outdated is the processor. apart from that im like pffft. especially when the next phone i buy has to keep up with and cream the games i play. because i reckon in the next two years well have loads of games from the ps2 and such on android market. im sure others feel the same way.

guys the octacore saves heaps of battery life meaning a thinner phone with a decent battery life.or a thin phone with crazy battery life. the choice is yours. this is the battle of batteries

yes a lot of confusion about octocore. simple 2 quad cores on 1 die. 1.8ghz one and 1.2ghz one running for low end software. thus creating a power saving core. then runs all cores for high end games and so on.

                simples.

every day a new release date. i think the best thing is wait to the official release date. and stop making up release dates. it will get release within the next coming months leave it at that.

                      What!!! ...8 core"...are u kiddin me???
Even pc dual core can run all heavy graphic games...
Come on....dont let this terminology hype the consumer..
4 mobile...8 core is stupidly rediculios to attract buyer...
Samsung should hold the new galaxy s flagship until may...
So the s3 buyer feel not rushing to change phone....

Im sure sammy would follow that step..

this is not an 8 core phone. this is quad core 1.8ghz cortex-a15. other 4 are just to save power cause a15 takes too much!!!!

Ok people all manufacturers are about making money no different Samsung,Apple,Blackberry,Nokia, right now the game is about capitalizing on the Tech hype, this fever will fade eventually when something else hits the market. So right now Samsung is at the forefront and i think they are thinking hard so no SPECULATIONS until the S4 is out wait and see,Samsung to the world.

...hoping this article will get fixed once the writer reads the earlier GSMarena article about the new OctaProcessor being a pair of quad-cores where only one set of four works at a time.

..and I certainly hope it works better for batterylife than that POS fifth-core on the tegra quads. More processors, that can't all work at once are a waste of time. Just work on making the prime more efficient (which it already is in most cases) and the fact that it simply completes tasks faster and spends the rest of the time in idle will save more battery. Don't make a Tegra mistake.

if all Samsung can come up with is 8 cores a bigger phone because Lord knows we need to carrying a mini tablet in our pockets then really whats the point. And yes i think Samsung is great and yep the S3 is an amazing phone.

But i have now converted to the Nexus 4 and i just love the pure Google experience

8 cores, really? does android apps need so much? instead of making the numbers look nice they should be making chips that maximise battery life. Consumers need to get out of the lies.
