Even for cheap SE. Good luck ever getting anything remotely close to that from equally priced Android phones. Having to pay 1200€ to get that is just absurd.

I really hope they have an IP68 rating for the 12S Pro. If they do, I'm buying it. Yes the telephoto sensor leaves much to be desired with the 2x magnification but the colour temperature will remain the same. The front camera however remains 20MP with 1080p/60. It should have been upgraded to the 1/2.5" 50MP sensor that Honor used for it's Magic 4 Pro's UW camera. Then the sensor would have a 4K/60 option. They should also provide details about the UW and telephoto sensor that they used.

MiFan, 05 Jul 2022Everyone knows Sd8-1 is overheated Xiaomi also don't w... moreif that was the case,xiaomi would not be releasing 12 series flagships with s8g1 chipset. they would have hold for a few months for the new chipset's arrival.that's not how you utilize your resources.releasing so similar devices one after another will (already is) drag aftersales support experience in terms of hardware and software. it will also increase development,production,supply chain and marketing costs. these unnecessary costs will cut revenues and increase product prices for sure.they have to have less products in their portfolio.

Interested to see if this phone with Snapdragon 8 gen 1 plus soc could play Genshin impact max settings 60 fps.
Snapdragon 888 and original 8 gen 1 had enough power but because poor cooling performance those would throttle fast.

they could have at least upgraded the telephoto to 3x...and added an OIS in the telephoto
