For everyone commenting on how plastic Samsung phones are: I still have an Galaxy S1 and while it does feel at times a bit plastic, that phone has endured much more than other phones would have. I bought it as soon as it came out, if I remember correctly, June or July 2010. Ever since that date, I have dropped it a lot and it has never broken. It still looks awesome. In fact, I heard that that "plastic" back cover is a benefit because instead of shattering the inside of the phone it will take the damage on the cover since it's not too hard and rock solid. It will bend along with the fall.

While I do enjoy a very fast phone and I do believe that it is needed, if its camera is no good, I will not buy the phone. I am hoping the camera on the S4 and Note 3 will be better than on the Note 2 and S3.

Just tell us what "exynos5" can deliver...
If its only 20% than current s3.... that will complete unacceptable

Apple, sony, and lg might lead the race. Lucky LG they got nexus, or else they are history and bb too, i think they will have some success. ZTE and Huawei of course has big market, but only in china. Out of china, those chinese brand are hated.

Sammy, please launch Galaxy SIV with 2GB RAM, and 2GHZ processor and with very good GPU. Otherwise it won't make any diffrence with SIII or other mobiles.

Samsung reign supreme in Android due to their higher quality in marketing. The S3 as a device outperformed the OneX on almost all fronts and samsungs marketing pushed it right to the top.

What did htc and lg brought t... moreOh god, you really are ignorant "Anonymous" I can not believe you said that, really, say at least one thing they have done better than samsung. They were left behind, HTC phones performed better before but now Samsung is the winner. Stay Smart, S voice, quad-core processor, best photo, memory expandable to 64 GB, 2.100 battery, larger screen, 1080 x 720 and resolusion no other surpassed it in every way, if there was one that would exceed the Pure View or the Lumia, or the DROID RAZR MAXX Motroral HD Nexus battery and 4 have 4 cores processor, along with 2GB ram and a little more than the S3 battery because Samsung had 2gb of ram only in the United States for its 2-core processor and South Korea. None overtakes Samsung in over two things. Samsung has all that you mentioned and many more. And that I'm not counting the Note 2 because we only talking about smartphones.

Gs3 success sale due to early enter to quadcore to market.....but reality is..the gpu is "god damn" week while playing nfd most wanted...sammy success due to marketing spread not their product quality....and the tech hype....
Will lookin forward the gs4 in 2013....and what new qualcomm and new tegra4 willingness bring..

I-say, 08 Feb 2013I bet u never used an S3. not replyin agnI have. Did you have anything specific on your mind. Have you tried it? Have you not any other phone to compare it to? 'cause if you did, you'd see it's flaws.
The S3 is even more dim then S2 was. And the S2 was not the brightest of screens. Some versions of the S3 has selectable color settings, same as s2 eventually got (when it was outdated), but not for all regions for some reason. Still doesn't help in the challenge of the brightness and laggy launcher. Perhaps you're (almost) never outside and only sit alone in a deep dark room. If so, then I understand why you have no complaints with the brightness.
The battery door on the S3 is weaker than that of the S2. It "creaks" and feels like it will crack when opening it. That said, the black S2 had a badly designed battery door, veeery slippery. It was improved on the white one. Anyways, my biggest problem with the S2 apart from bad battery life, cartoon colors the first year and non-impressive brightness, was it's fairly low screen resolution compared to it's screen size. Very low ppi, and the Mali deserves so much more. The mali and exynos still deserves a lot more support than what Samsung provides.
But don't worry, the s4 will surely sell in buckets - as sammy know how to market their stuff and sell loads more than the better options from their competitors.

HTC has been stagnant ever since the great HD2.. given the One X was a good phone no doubt, HTC could have push the boundary with it and they chose not to and lost.
Sony in the past has been, for lack of a better term, Lagging behind everyone. the Xperia Z seems like a good phone, but without a review we wont know for sure. The design is beautiful yes, but im sure time has showed us that design is only a small percentage with it comes to everyday people buying smartphones (example, GS3 ugly has hell compared to the others, but still came out on top).
The dust and water proof thing from sony, i will take off my hat to them for it yes, but they arent the first to put it on the phone, if memory serves me correct there is a samsung "rugged" phone that has this certification, and if samsung decides to put it on their flagship, then what?
