Samsung A23 5g cost e300. Even this cpu isn't qualcomm 7 series this is 6th series, price is too much. I think xiaomi 5g phone is best choice for me bcz price is low compared to samsung and hardware also solid.

This phone is far better than unpopular disco phone with unknown brand "nothing".

The main competitor of nothing phone is Galaxy A03. But still, Galaxy A03 is lot better because it has popular samsung brand and worldwide official store/service center.

I believe, meizu phone has higher brand value than nothing phone.

300 euros is simply too much for a phone with a snapdragon 695. Not a bad chipset by any means but midrange. Poco X4 pro with the 695 sd as well is 250 euros. The Poco f3 with a far stronger SD 870 is around 270 for the 6gb ram version. 220-300 is the range for flagship killers. 300 plus is not where the midrange should lie. I wouldn't buy this with free money.

Are people still comparing last year prices with this year like nothing happend? Look around you guys. Everything is more expensive this year. And I literally mean everything. Key word is inflation. For example, Poco F4 is basicly the same device as F3 but price difference is huge. F3 was easily recommended especially for people on low budget wanting high performance for their gaming or whatever. And one more thing.. there are not a lot of last years models in stores when new model comes except some higher end models like S series from Samsung.
Obviously, this year is way harder to compare then any year so far. You can't blame OEM's for global situation right now. Times are changing guys.

          Peace out!

Anonymous, 28 Jul 2022why samsung is still stuck with teardrop notch ?Samsung is trash with prices and price to performance ratio. Snapdragon 778G at 44K. At that people are getting 8 + gen 1.

SShock, 28 Jul 2022Lol, just because they hold value they aren't overpric... moreAlso, I forgot to add. Because the iPhones are much more common (basically they are everywhere in my country), possible buyers can say something like "Ohh, but I saw your model much cheaper at that person or that person. Why you want so much for yours? I will buy it from you, only if you leave it less than the other person".
                And things like this.
Being everywhere is not always a good thing. Especially when selling your phones. Because people easily make general comparisons with similar models.

The easiest phones and the least amount of money I lost, funny enough, was when I wanted to sell OnePlus or Realme phones. They are less common in my country (even less common in the past) and if you know how to talk with people and how to sell your devices, you can get really nice money for unknown models (but with nice specs).

SShock, 28 Jul 2022Lol, just because they hold value they aren't overpric... moreYou get your money back only if the iPhone you want to sell is in perfect condition. Also, the fact that the battery health is easily visible can be a negative thing when selling a phone. Trust me, I had iPhones in the past and is very hard to sell them with nice money. Because their price is a little higher than the competition (in second hand market) and the possible customers are even more picky. Just small scratch (almost invisible on display or back) or below 90% battery health and the price immediately decreases in the eyes of the buyers.
Bottom line, you get nice money for your iPhone, only if it's 10/10 phone (visually) and has above 90% battery health.

Androids on the other hand, like I said, because you can get them with very nice discounts just 6 months after their release date, you will loose less money overall. Also, from personal experience, the potential buyers are less picky (at least visually), because the phone cost less. Also, is a positive thing that they can't easily see the battery health.
I lost more money overall when I sold my past iPhones (mainly because I bought them new or open box devices), than when I sold my past Androids (because I never bought Android phones immediately after release; and almost in all cases I pay at least 30% discounted prices for them).

Grey Wolf, 28 Jul 2022And if you wait 2-3 months and buy a phone with a nice pric... moreLol, just because they hold value they aren't overpriced. How is it overpriced when iPhones cost the same as comparable Android phones, yet don't get devalued into oblivion after just few months. You pay the same as for Android phone, but when you sell it, you get more back. Were you skipping basic economics or something that this is somehow bad for the user? Well, it's only bad if you're banking on getting dirty cheap second hand device. Sure. But you probably weren't looking for iPhone then in the first place, were you?

Say that to Apple and their iPhones, which even after 3 years are overpriced in second hand market, majority with below 85% battery health (which by the way, cost a lot to change). And their Apple fanboys, say in unison, that the extra price is worth it. Lol.
Your comment is illogical. Is like saying "I hate company X for discounting prices of their devices".
Wouldn't you buy a car with nice discounted price? Wouldn't you buy a TV with a nice discounted price? Even though the initial price was higher. Why is different in the case of Samsung phones?
Like I said, nobody is forcing you to buy a device/gadget (of any kind) day 1 release. Unless you are rich and you don't care about money.
So, the fact that Samsung phones prices (and other Android phones of that matter), are discounted just couple of months after release, for me is just positive. Nothing negative in this.

I can literally go and buy a Xiaomi 11T for example, right now, with 300EUR. Open box device, 24 months warranty. Even though that phone cost 530EUR just 6-8 months ago.
So yeah, you can complain what you want and refuse to buy phones from company X or Y. And let the other people buy devices with nice prices.

In my country you can find now A52s with 300EUR, A53 with 330EUR and S21 FE with 520EUR. Open box products with 24 months warranties.
I am pretty sure, you can find this A23 in couple of months at 200-250EUR.
