Anonymous, 09 Aug 2022Incorrect. They do.I use Galaxy A51, and dont find 11 microsoft apps on my phone like the first commenter mentioned before.

In fact i voluntarily install microsoft office, and microsoft ToDo, but still i could uninstall anytime i want.

[deleted post]I had this feature on Android for years and it didn't really bother me one bit on iPhone. Percentage is still there if you pull down notification panel for just few millimeters. So it was always there in reach, but I'm not always counting every % that drops which is nice when you're otherwise obsessed with control to a point one could say it's an OCD of sort. You know, when it bothers you that battery dropped X percent and you haven't done anything significant on the phone. Then it's better if you have just a rough display of battery status and not exact percentage value.

kiasunkiasi, 10 Aug 2022so Apple now invented percentage number on battery status?exactly, apple needed ages to understand that battery percentage indicator showing the exact percentage is a standard feature in all other phones. the question shouldn't be 'why did apple bring it back just now?' but 'why did apple actually remove it?'. well, there can't be any serious answer to this question. the most logical answer would be that apple wanted to have a stand alone feature as always.

"look apple fanboys, now you can't read the battery status anymore, something that no other phone user can!"

I want to see a percentage, not count pixels. I know you can swipe down and see it but that's not the point. Next they need a setting to hide the white bar on the bottom of the screen entirely for for specific apps that you can choose.
