The latest POCO M5s release has 8GB RAM (+3GB RAM extension) and 256GB storage. My M5s was delivered with a 33W fast charger, a pre-installed screen protector and a TPU case. Cost: $160.

Prospective buyers need to decide whether the Poco's extra 2GB RAM, 1080p display, faster UFS storage and starting with Android 12 are worth the extra cash. The Honor X7 counters with an ultrawide cam that the M5 is lacking and faster charging speed.

The Honor X7 4/128 (its lowest variant) is launched at $155 in Malaysia. Honor usually launch their phones at lower prices in Malaysia btw.
For reference, the Poco M5 6/128 launch price is $178 in Malaysia.

G99 compete with Dimensity 700, sd 480/480+, Unisoc T700 series etc.

It is an adequately powerful AND efficient SoC for the entry level/lower mid-range smartphones (price less than $200). Currently, this segment is dominated by SD 680 which is not ideal in my view. G99 is a much better and needed SoC to be used in phones in this segment.
