Doesn't matter how much animation they put to attract underteen. It'll be very distracting in many tasks specially watching movies and playing games.

Face id is very convenient [the only issue was with masks] and fast indeed, the display is well tuned and calibrated. Yeah, split screen multitasking is where Apple is lacking which is very upsetting for a premium device.
But don't forget the flawless user experience, optimized ecosystem, hardware reliability, certified after sales service provided by third parties which is unparalleled. Iphones retain the price when you sell your device after a year or two.
Building a smooth user experience is not easy, you need to be technically advanced to do that. Google being the best in software couldn't do with pixels in many years.

I don't play games nor watch movies on a phone but it surely seems to annoy people who are used to no/smaller cutouts. Hopefully Apple can find a way to put these auxiliary sensors behind the screen in future because it definitely feels like it's possible if they use the same kind of screen found on phones like Axon 40 Ultra.

You are definitely correct about Apple not faking a render, BUT it must be pointed out that the bezels on iPhone 14 Pro are slimmer than those on iPhone 13 Pro all around even though they have equally sized chassis.
This is an important distinction because although the pill is PHYSICALLY not sitting any lower than the notch if you compare 13 Pro and 14 Pro side by side, there is a gap between the pill and the bezel because now the top bezel is thinner. So if you measure the distance between the edge of the screen and the bottom of the pill, it is longer on iPhone 14 Pro. Which ultimately indicates: In a RELATIVE term, the pill is sitting deeper down the screen.

The same goes for third-party indicator apps that lit up the outline, or specific kinds of wallpapers that attract your attention rather than direct your attention away from it.
Apple's cutout is inevitably larger than the competition due to FaceID. IMO Apple's new "island" design wouldn't have worked if it was placed on the corner. As you said, the smaller the hole the merrier, but I find this to be a decent way to make the presence of the large physical cutout less noticeable, if not completely invisible.
Also, Apple doesn't use fake renders for their products. The official renders on PhoneArena or any websites indicate exactly how they look, the radius of the display corners and the position of the pill in them match the actual phones shown in all the hands-on videos from what I have seen.
I do remember you - You corrected me regarding my understanding towards NVLink, which made me thought you were a nice person, then after that you immediately started shitting on whoever said even slightly positive about Apple in the comment section, got temporarily banned by GSMArena, and made a sub account to keep going only to get banned again in a few hours. Since then you've been constantly changing the username to avoid getting caught by the moderation, and writing offensive comments as an anonymous user so that your main account doesn't get blocked. Not the type of person that I would want to communicate with or associate myself with.
