But the app is a fail, and also the call quality is very poor. Hence I will be switching towards Bose for this.

Just bought QC SE yesterday for 180 CHF ( almost same price as Dollars), device appears as QC45 in the app...if there was any doubt about them being a rebrand of QC45.
Noise cancelling seem stronger/better than on my QC35 as there are 4 mics instead of 2.
I think it's a bargain at this price, my QC35 were 350 CHF 6 years ago...

biggest complaints about older QC45 were a constant "hiss" rather annoying when there was pauses in music/videos or simply when you had them on in pause. The other big complain was the inability to adjust NC...it was either full ANC or full transparent/ambient. Can anyone tell if this was corrected in newer SE version? If these 2 issues are solved they are a great set.

Akinaro, 14 Sep 2022Go try SBC and then Aptx HD or LDAC and write that again...... moreI never watch movies so I can't say about that but for music little to zero difference for me. I'm not an audiophile but just a casual music listener. And I always use equalizer to boost the bass.

Also its not only about sound quality but latency, try to watch movie or play game with sbc/acc, lag is annoying as hell. Then try Aptx LL and see the difference.

Its 2022, even headphones... moreBose has always been a quality product!, I find these newer products with all these fancy and special features are usually a piece of junk that never work and they try to make it sound like they're really amazing when they don't do anything at all! If you want to quality product stick with bows I've always thought their products were great, these new fangled brands I've tried a few of them and they're all junk

Costco? I would never buy electronic product from Costco they may probably make a special edition for costco! The last time I bought anything from Costco it was a piece of junk when I called the company that said oh that's a special edition we just make for Costco you'll have to talk to them about any problems you have with it same with their TVs they look the same but they're not be careful what you buy from Costco when it comes to electronic products even levi's! I bought a pair of Levi's 501s I've been buying 501 since the 1970s not the same pants!

Still only SBC and AAC codecs?... Its 2022, even headphones that cost less than 120$ have aptx...
And Bose ANC system is not that great so even here they failing...
If not brand name they would be in the same bag as Srhythm or Anker Soundcore(that are actually nice for their price)

Haha „specs” Bose doesn’t give tech specs. Never. Battery life is not a headphone spec.
