It doesn't really matter how fast the new 4G smartphones are - internet providers will find a way of slowing it down because that way, they make more money out of YOU.

But i guess it is possible, i have even come across such a thing as Lada fanboys (For the asians here, Lada is a russian car brand that is not known for anything that could be consider even remotely positive, there is nothing to love about a Lada, very much like LG phones)

And lastly, the G Pro represents the max PPI LG is capable of making, dont expect any 5 inch from LG with LG's own display anytime soon, they are unable to manufacture at that pixel density.
Thats why they have to enter 2013s competition with a 5.5 incher, and that would not necessarily be a bad thing (i have Note 2 and i like the size), if they had a good design and something more unique, but making a direct copy of the already less than stellar looking Galaxy Note 2 is hardly what the market wants right now, especially without the digitizer. G Pro is a niche product if ever there was such a thing.

G was late to Europe because of ICS, it would not have sold much without Jelly Bean back last year when it was still a high end device (if it ever was high end, again we have the G and Nexus4 shocking bad sound in recorded videos, that is unparallelled even on low end). All in all it was a device unfit for the European market, Nexus 4 could sell because of the lower price and the newest Android available, it didnt come with ICS =)
The quad core of the G may help it to sell a few devices in Europe if the price is low enough, but surely one would be better off choosing the coming Xperia SP.

i will never buy a LG smartphone again after I was left on android 2.3.5 with my LG Optimus 3D, which was a top smartphone at the time.

So, G is an upper midrange contender now, and i doubt it can compete with their own Nexus 4 in that class, and since both G and N4 has horrible audio quality in video recording it does not make sense to chose either of the two. Its funny that $25 chinese phones has better audio quality in videos.

For LG fanbois, you be happy with this phone. The optimus G is a very good phone already but this one is enhanced version so it has more features and better performance.
