Exactly. What proof they have that Tizen won't meet the same destiny as Bada? No one. So do us all a favor and stick it up yours. We don't need hundred different OS-es when they sometimes can't make up their mind within different versions of the same OS.
I had Bada and it was ok. When they released v2.0 they thrashed ALL the important features from 1.0 making my Wave useless brick. So no thanks, i'll stay with Android which works great on my SGS2...

I used Bada on the wave for just over a year. During that time there was so much dissapointment with all the top apps (e.g. Google Maps, Angry Birds, Whatsapp etc) never coming out on BADA. The updates were also slow and they took forever to release them to some countries (incl mine). Because of the bad service and updates and the way Samsung screwed the Wave users I will never ever buy a Tizen phone. I now use Apple iOS and it's OK.

tizen... some people are waiting for an OS full of 1.0 bugs that will be useful in around 4 years from now, just to tell others that they switched to tizen because android 4.1 is laggy and buggy... mehhhhhhhhh

tizen = bada because samsung = samsung

i don't hate myself enough to believe in everything marketing wants me to believe in. specialy when it comes from samsung.

One good thing about Bada is it is very power efficient.

They could just release a tizen version for the bada 2.0 users.

Everyone have to avoid all the new OSes and make Android and iOS(if you want competition) better by using it. As we're using it, it means devs will bring all games and apps to your platform of choice.

Now with iOS and Android and may be Windows Phones, we already have a reasonable competitors here. Adding more to it and it'll become fragmentation.

Samsung(a company wich I don't quite like) is retiring Bada because now is focusing on Tizen(with Intel that Nokia kicked off and abandoned Meego) and BADA apps will be compatible on Tizen. Nokia retired Symbian and Symbian Apps(pressuming they are any quality ones over there) are backward compatible with nothing because Nokia is not working on anything instead because they have all the eggs in one WP basket. :)
