I really want too see intel arc fix there drivers and compatibility issues
We badly need affordable budget GPUs for gamer's
Who really need a functional GPU
Intel ark hopefully will ofter this
As right about now budget gaming is still dead even the your anerage is less powerful today then it was in the past as a reflection of the bad state of the market today we live in
Also we need game developer too be more in touch with the market of today and target more affordable budget system and less powerful capable systems
intel on board graphics amd apu / GT 1030 GT 730 GTS 450 gtx 660 750ti etc basically crap hardware old hardware or light and slim portable
potato graphics settings in game's could really make a difference for gamer's don't have a GPU poor people who don't have enough money
kids who mum brought them a office pc but for gaming
Netbook and laptops that can't be upgraded but being portable is needed
A old gaming pc that was built or budget system with limited upgradability
So many examples of cases where high performance low price GPUs are needed and need for potato graphics by game developer too make any game at least playable for budget gamer's Who are struggling

Nvidia has become the scalper and ATI are also priced too high for their comparative performance to Nvidia's offerings. ATI RT is still generations behind Nvidia.
Here's hoping Intel manage to deliver decent raster and RT in their next gen at a decent price point.

Like you I regret getting a 3070 for the same money I could have bought an 6800 or even an xt.
Nvidia has become Apple, offering you prestige rather than tangible benefits of any kind.

By not having compatibility with older games and having unplayable frame rates there was a video on tech deals about this problem and some other YouTube channels also said just avoid because of software issues
This less useful too a lot of gamers if there new hardware is not compatible with the software they want too use it with
A lot of unlikely things about the new versions of windows Microsoft has done from blootware too forced updates too spyware etc and many more bad changes made
There are also companys that require old software support and can't just switch too newer versions of windows as there software is incompatible or too hard too patch or unstable on new windows versions
The hardware is there too run whatever software we will need it for lacking compatibility or performance in old directX versions will affect any games that requires it
For this reason a lot of gamer's won't use anything AMD bad software or overheating or some kinda technical issues a lot of gamer's have many difficulties with windows 10 & 11 also
A lot of experienced gamer's just stick with Intel k series CPU with Intel graphics & Nvidia rtx GPUs graphics
For maximum compatibility and functionality and minimum problems

While it was embarrassing for Intel to put GPUs on the market that didn't run old games ridiculously fast, it's hardly an achievement to have put out fixes to address that.
Sounds like they're focusing on non-issues to avoid talking about the underwhelming performance of Arc GPUs in DX12/recent titles, something they cannot fix with waves and waves of marketing BS like they have been doing all year.

Needs too get compatibility with direct X 11 and fix performance problems with older games
If there not flexible with compatibility with os support as well support legacy windows versions like windows 7 & 8
Roughly 1 out every 3 windows pc still runs windows 7 this is a big market share
I can't see why people won't just stick with Nvidia GPUs
If Intel arc is just another AMD 2.0 software problems driver issues unstable

This is good news. I really hope Intel proves successful.
Nvidia has prices itself out of competition with AMD. Nvidia will be just for people with more money than common sense.
We need Intel to keep AMD prices acceptable, rather than close to Nvidia.

Still new GPU with newer drivers. Hopefully they'll slowly get better over time. If they can pull an adrenaline update that push performance it'll be a great long term GPU. Otherwise, I'll wait for Arc gen 2.
