Seems that their prime core has more L2 cache, but still, adding 2MB L3 cache would be great

There’s nothing exciting about this, it is basically a refreshed MTK D8000 chipset. Granted that is a good chipset, but it’s not much better than their MTK D1000 chipset. And that’s also a good chipset. Basically Qualcomm has dropped the ball for +2 years, and MediaTek has picked it up. It’s just unfortunate that they have a bad Software Support history and aren’t as available in the Western Markets.

AMD has no RT cores like nVidia does. They have "ray accelerators" which are "functions" incorporated into their CUs but aren't dedicated.

Only If the small cores add little to the multi-score. If they do, it will be even less. That's not a gen on gen improvement, at least not for phones.

Most of comments are all about small upgrade.
But i think 4nm and overclock are enough to give 20% boost.
Thats enough for 1 generation.

It says support for UFS 3.1 but the Xiaomi 13 that will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip is expected to use UFS 4.0, so how come?

But the problems is now I have now wifi 6e on new latest phone and even on mine laptop and desktop but now my mobile signal is not great im my location so my phone needs to be in kitchen to have at least 4G but still bad signal.
And I left WiFi 6 on but when I left phone in kitchen the signals gone and am talking about only 6 or 8 meters .
I had to switch hot-spot band to 2.4Ghz to gave proper signal .. The higher bandwidth they do the shorter and shorter range resulting ..
