[deleted post]Can you show us how A23 5G is downgrade from A22 5G?

Completi... moreBut this phone is cheaper than most phones with same specs and it make sense to use both Lcd and Amoled, perfomance wise A33 and A23 are almost same and price difference isnt much you can pick A33 if you need Amoled and A23 if you need LCD.

if there was an issue with the phone, they would've delayed it entirely, they wouldn't just ship less of the "broken phone". just admit its due to your pricing policy for the low specs they're offering.

For a company that prides itself on updates. Then doesn't come through with those updates. Namely the Android 12 update for the Galaxy A02 that they promised. I am not surprised. Customers jumped ship. Maybe if they were treated better then they would have stayed and upgraded.

Would have brought this but only 4GB model in Europe...

What did they expect, Tear drop camera, LCD panel. Completion like Xiaomi, Motorola budget phones have better looking phones.

Samsung should blame their expensive price, and their low spec. Even with 3 years of support it's meaningless without the hardware to run it. Also it's a good thing, so that they will open their eyes to see other manufacturers catching up with better devices.

I can smell the stock prices changing.

May be they think Covid is coming again?. We r now have some Covid news after long time here in India.

For them to cut numbers so much, it means the issue itself was happening on something electronic related specific to this device.

Since it only affected the 5G model, maybe the 5G antenna was receiving too much interference and causing high battery usage or heat up?

                                    Thank God I have the A53 5G

I don't know what is Samsung's "mysterious, undisclosed issue" for the A23 5G globally, but for my country I know one of the reasons why the A23 5G not selling well: A33.

A23 5G's launch price is $45 lower than the A33, and for that money A33 is still the superior device. A33 is also selling for less than MSRP now because its launched much earlier. Buyers can get even lower prices if they survey around. I managed to get a new A33 8/128 for less than $200 from a Samsung reseller during their year end sale.

I wonder what kind of issue that gave them headaches and cut the production numbers would be. Anyone?
