      For me Meta doesn't matter at all. The Utopia messenger is completely decentralized, which means there is no central server or authority that can control or monitor user messages.                       Not sure who id rather use an "end to end encrypted" messaging service from, meta or amazon. although amazon doesn't have one, i might trust them a little more than i do meta.

                        WhatsApp was supposed to be this very thing, until Meta touched it.

                        Do not trust a SINGLE thing that comes out of the Meta group to be secure and unmonitored. Cannot trust Zukerberg, one bit.
