UltraHD, 25 Jan 2023I don't see much of a difference compared to S22 Ultra.200MP plus pixel binning for S23 ultra and 108MP plus pixel binning for S22 ultra. They just bumped up the megapixels to give an illusion the image quality is a lot better than its predecessor. I don't think there is anything remarkable that is going to come out from that isocell sensor. Same oversharpening algorithm with natural skin tones is all they care about. .

Codedslam, 25 Jan 2023Why Would Anyone Need 8k On A Phone? I'm Just AskingIt's a marketing gimmick which is practically useless in a smartphone that doesn't even have a 1" sensor inside. The Nokia 808 and 1020 PureView that came a decade ago took better shots and videos.

Why Would Anyone Need 8k On A Phone? I'm Just Asking

Social media - not ready for 2mp and HD content. Forget 200mp and 8K.
Only youtube, skype, viber - few that I know of.

"A camera sample from Galaxy S23 Ultra's main camera (downscaled)"

WOW, they've shared a 2 MP downscaled image from 200 MP, how do they expect to advertise the image quality of the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with that?

8K should not be 70Mbps, but 300 instead.

Any news about 4K 120fps? This 4K 60fps and 8K 30fps is nothing new. It's the same old wine in a new bottle.

yes, Samsung pays you so well, ads every half hour on this brick

Ultra terrible quality, even Note 4 from 10 years ago is better at this :D

Why not record when it's raining or in a place with lots of objects this will push it to limit it's processing power.
