Saying Snapdragon 600 an inferior CPU is not fair itself. You do not have any benchmark results to prove performance of Exynos 5 Octa.
Snapdragon 600 used in Galaxy S4 is not same as used in HTC One. It is clocked at 1.9 GHz and has LPDDR3 memory compared to LPDDR2 in HTC One.

Pretty bad news for most of the European countries. I now know for sure that the Exynos variant will be available initially only in Austria, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland & USA. But Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Sweden, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Reunion, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey & UK will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 variant. I cannot tell if the Exynos CPU will ever be available in these countries at a later point. I cannot also tell yet which CPU variant will be sold in the Cyprus, Ireland, Malta, Norway, Australia.
I've checked that already with some pre-order sites.

Nice marketing, we can do this, but we offer what is already on the market (from processor point of view). In other words, they are playing with us and create an fake image. To be honest I will take LTE version (if the supposition is correct) because it has enough power to handle any situation.

I will go for the 3G Octa core version, I like speed over the 4G which is dosen't work properly in my country. My S3 is getting slower with the updates specially the latest Jelly-Bean update. let's see the benchmark records for the Octa-core S4 then to decide.

I'm happy either way so, no problem with Snapdragon 600.

AnonD-62967, 20 Mar 2013I'm confused. Sure I get the LTE business buy why doesn't S... morei highly doubt that it will "destroy" the sd600. it should be by a minimum margin. i mean, i dont think sammy wouldnt make a crappy version and a very good version of its flagship model lol. not logical

I'm confused. Sure I get the LTE business buy why doesn't Sammy's own Exynos support LTE?
That's annoying. I was really really interested to see how the octa-core would compare to the SD600 variant and now it matters little simply because it's not available to the UK market.
Also curios, does anyone know if the Exynos 5410 will outperform the Snapdragon600 and by what margin.
We don't have benchmarks of them but everyone GSM included keeps emphasising that it is expected to outperform the SD600..Just wondering by how much it is expected to outperform it?

If it's marginal then I'm fine with it, if it's not marginal and it destroys the SD600 then way to go sammy :/

                      Korea.

yet it will still sell tons of units and Sammie will pull the same shit with the S5

Why would they have a huge publicity event, bigging up the new processor and not launch it with LTE?

so it seems that all S4 phones in every country will ship with snapdragon 600 instead of Exynos 5 Octa ... So which WILL ship with Exynos 5.???
