The main reason htc failed in the business is not because of poor marketing, but because of low speced phones even in the midrange where other brands offers full speced phones,even at the high end htc has only 2 or 3 models which is also not near to perfect speced phone.some have low internal memory while others do not have sd card slot, compass, front cam etc.

HTC One delay might be a strategic move as to maintain the hype and make the S4 a bit old so that One will still be in news and blogs. HTC is launching new phones parallel to One just to show that they are not occupied by ONE ONLY. I know that ONE is awaited by Thousand, but given the carisma of SAMSUNG HTC would have not got all the attention they needed. But Still HTC gives two new phones in China (1 Billion people market).

for example xperia L have better cpu, gpu, camera sensor, battery, bigger screen and sd card so overall xperia L is better
and i don't think is overkill
+ it have great design and good bulid quality

if i were in HTC, id focus on how to produce more HTC ONE rather than creating another phone.. maybe this is the reason why HTC ONE is not yet out globally. HTC's design are good but they fail in the market..

They should make a midrange upgrade to the wildfire s. I'm not liking these designs where the lens is so close to the led flash. Its what I don't like about the htc one sv design.

Htc is being stupid. One is an exceptional phone but they also have to compete in mid range and lower end market. And they are not doing a good job at it. Xperia sp and l are much better even optimus f series is also better and Samsung's mid range phones are also Better than this come on HTC wake up!!!!

I'm a Sensation owner myself (with Elegacia 3.9.0) and the phone it's definetely awful. In my conttry (Argentina) you can get for the same price a Galaxy S2 or a Motorola Razr, both of them much better choices. The desire, on the contrary, was quite good for it's time and made a name for itself
