Anonymous, 27 Mar 2013I agree on some levels, but it's an achievement for them an... morebut its actually not that impressive in a market with 280+ million people in it, and sure this will no doubt upon release as this is a very rough guideline and says nothing about actual sales, i think it was a very good move by htc to increase their advertising campaign, the phone is already out in the uk and until 2-3 days ago i have not seen anything advertising the HTC, just publication adverts in magazines and newspapers, but i think they need to push this device more if it is to sell, it is definitely a very good phone, and for me only lacks a few features to make me switch from galaxy to htc, so in my opinion this phone is a very good second to s4 on paper, and by comparison

Samsung galaxy s3 was millions ... ... moreby release day the galaxy s3 had a worldwide pre order list of 9 MILLION, most in demand in history to date, and apparently stores in the uk have seen a 40% increase in pre orders for the S4, so i reckon it could easily top that, bear in mind the HTC ONE is about to hit the market or already has done in some countries the galaxy still has a month to go.

I really respect HTC but they need to work very hard on their advertising to balance the battle against Samsung .

it is so hard to understand that iphone users do not want big smartphones? are you all stupid? iphone 5 is the most powerful and the most beautiful device in the class of 4 inch and stands up even to all 4.3 inch devices. after that dimension it is useless to talk because that devices have MORE SPACE TO PUT PIECES INSIDE!!! SIMPLE LOGIC !!! I repair mobiles and iphones are the most difficult to disassembly, they are made like watches,EVERY MICRON IS USED. you can't put a v12 motor on a vw golf, it is not enough space

Why am I doubting this? BB10 demand was also said big and it turned out to be a faux. I very much doubt "several hundred thousand" preorders, in any case, if it'll take HTC several months to produce that many, there is no point really, because many will just cancel the order and go for the S4.

[deleted post]People buy iPhone because of the iOS and ecosystem, its pointless from you to talk about sony and s4 and all the great android phones, they still have android, not iOS.
Apple users buy ecosystem, Apple users could buy htc one easily if it runs iOS.
Actually first android phone which i could buy is this HTC one, its very impressive and very good looking phone. But it still doesnt run iOS, so its no go.
But i hope HTC one going to sell a lot because it deserve to be hit.
but yep you should understand that its not about the phone itself, it hasnt been in many years.
