Interestingly, the SoC is reported to run at 1.8GHz rather than the official 1.6GHz as Samsung said.

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2013That's because not all 8 of them are working at the same time. No!
Samsung said it will not run 8 CPUs together, This only 4 cores.
You just jealous because 1.8 GHZ A15 Exynos beat Qualcomm 1.9 A15.
And this is not final i think Exynos will blow Qualcomm S800 and S600 out of water as usual.
      Samsung is the best!

i don't need this performance as the old quadcore in the note2 is more than enough for everything imaginable... what i want to see is battery timings... are they better than the snapdragon version??

vasile, 28 Mar 2013With the first software update htc one will blast s4 away,l... moreno i don't think so bro because S4 will also get update and the results will be better than now and don't forget snapdragon600 is clocked higher in the S4 1.9>1.7

With the first software update htc one will blast s4 away, like one x did with s3,and so on with the previous phone.you should test phones with the same software, because you now say s4 is the best, next week htc one blows away everything

While the benchmark results are high, it isn't significantly better than the HTC One. If you're planning on rooting your device and running a custom ROM, a better option would be the HTC One with the better build quality

awesome ..even if performance is similar to snapdragon 600 , battery consumption is supposed to be less in exynos 5 version of s4. So I'd like to see battery test rather than performance test.
