Like extra fat which your phone must handle.
As we humans are always trying to get rid of this extra fat because its bad for our health same goes for phone. Your so called awesome UI is full of burden and apps which are already there from google and a lot better in most cases.

I love my Tab S8+, it's really powerful and super light. Before that I had the S6 Lite 2020 version, it was painful sometimes because it was so weak and the screen wasn't great.

A lot better in every single ... moreNone of those tablets you listed beat the Samsung tablets in specs. They also don't get updates. Sure they are a little bit cheaper but they are missing so many features that they HAVE to be cheaper.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4
SD870, IPS display, lower resolution screen, no included S-Pen, no expandable storage, no 5g connectivity option, no GPS, poor software update track record.
It's missing far too many features to even be considered a proper competitor to the Tab S8+. It's competition is more like the Tab S7+ which I've seen on sale for $350 USD direct from Samsung and Best Buy.
Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Gen 2
Kompanio 1300T(basically same performance as SD870), less ram, terrible cameras, Lenovo has THE WORST track record for software updates, Poor build quality that uses plastic on all surfaces (heatbox much?), no included pen, only 20w charging. The price of this tablet is a bit higher than the xiaomi too.
Most of those "cheaper" tablets are often missing tons of features or make a lot of compromises. Those cheaper tablets HAVE to be cheaper because of this. Apple is really the only company that makes tablets that are competitive on all aspects vs the samsung tablets.

For the people saying that Samsung shouldn't make yearly tablets cause people don't change tablets yearly it's an unvalid argument as nowadays premium tablets can be used like a laptop replacement and they're updated yearly.
I agree with the problematic about a S pen slot where it's a bad idea as it needs a 10mm thickness at least to integrate the actuel s pen tab version.
I just hope that the S9 ultra will get rid of the notch.
For battery life, IMO it will be better as the 8 Gen 1 has overheating issues

Pure android experie... moreWhat do you mean? Buying a smartphone is always optionable. You could buy phone with boring stock Android or beautiful OneUI. No one forcing anyone to buy Samsung/Apple.
But..the rank of phones marketshare shows that most of people love the beauty of One UI. iOS ranks second. The number of sales any stock Android phone is like minuscule compared to Samsung.

Software support.
Like anyone is interested in Samsung bloatware.
If i run Lenovo, Motorola Nokia Nothing or Oneplus with Oxygen UI or any other pure android experience with minimum apps running on backround i get much more power from CPU and GPU also RAM for apps than from Samsung device.
Pure android experience is the best OS rest is nothing but bloatware which slows down your device and makes it feel really bad. Especialy after 2-3 years of use.

10inch
12inch
14inch
17inch
and sell by pre-order method like Dell and Lenovo laptop.
and ppl want flagship even from a smaller screen size too,
5G telephony, 16gb ram, 1TB storage, Amoled.

there is no good alternative to Fans who used the following:
1. Galaxy Note 8.0
2. Galaxy Tab S6.
Wish to see variants option @:
16:10 8to10.5inch, 5G Telephony,
Snap 7+, Snap 8+
12gb/16gb ram
512gb / 1Tb
Amoled
now, even Realme and Redmi is launching 1TB 16gb ram below $400.
but with Samsung Knox and Reliability, those spec still worth above $700 range.
but otherwise, it is loosing competitively.

jKhan, 04 Apr 2023Spen slot should be there like s23 ultra.that would require making the pen smaller/thinner, or making the tablet much thicker. a massively thick tablet would be annoying, and making the pen smaller/thinner would make it uncomfortable to hold, completely defeating the purpose of the larger pen
