If Samsung couldn't put the Exynos 2300 in the S23 was because they decided to renew their process node, so while they are doing it for the high-end segment they decided to make a contract with Qualcomm to make a special chipset for galaxy, doesn't mean that will stop developing and producing chipsets for the future.
Exynos on the S23FE could come as well in the next S24 series.

So lets assume they got early access, but agi doesnt mention anything about driver development, it helps find resource usage in games.

Why would you say its the main reason when freedreno existed long before any such tools where available?

And as i said before usual developers get early access of this tool, when Google anounce Agi some games were already developed, i forgot names but if am not mistaken king were one of those developers who got 40% better perfomance before public anouncement.

And i do agree with that, not all effort of Turnip were made by recent breakthrough but definitely thats one of them if not biggest one.

Updatable drivers are a thing long before any of this, all you need is a bootloader unlocked phone. Agi came a year after turnip development started. All these might have helped make the turnip development faster but it sure isnt the reason for its existence.

And no, they are all open source tools, when someone gets it they would all have gotten it.

Also its normal for developers to get access of tech way before official anouncement.

                        But you said

From tools like this thats why you can get something like Mesa, Mesa started with Adreno 650 and midrange 619/620"

What does this even have to do with turnip? Turnip development started months before this announcement. It doesnt need drivers through playstore. You were claiming it as if thats the reason mesa turnip even exists.

This is statement from Developer himself.

-As I said in the talk it was immature though it works fine at the beginning thus lots of extensions and features are implemented since 2020. Joanathan Marek and Connor Abbott played an important role at this time(and still) and they implemented very basic and essential features from the scratch (and copied from freedreno if necessary). So Igalia could get involved in the progress of the implementation of extensions and features on top of what they have done.-

That statement is from one of Turnip developer, they started from scratch l, they only Copy from Freedreno if necessary, so Turnip isnt 100% Freedreno.

And it doesnt make any sense to argue they use 2xx or 5xx adreno drivers to support 6xx.

This is Answer from one of contributor

                          https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/6802

-To support "new" device we need to properly set its properties and some magic numbers, for this we need to capture what proprietary driver does.
I don't need a physical device to gather the information, but would need one to test. So, a bit later, I could make a config which may work, and after you test it - we could confirm that it is correct-

Any reverse engineer project would want to see how propietary driver do so that they can imitate it, its Common sense i dont even know why we are Arguing here.

What would you do with those drivers? And driver distribution was left to oems, so sure samsung distributed it to users.

The common sense here would be 2xx to 5xx already had a working opengl open source driver. Adding vulkan support to these might not have been worth the effort. If you look at the git of turnip you will find a lot of commits mentioning freedreno
                            https://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/log/?qt=grep&q=turnip&ofs=1050

Lots of people from various companies contribute to the mesa project, google even hired the freedreno founder rob clark in 2019 to work further on open source gpu drivers.

Where is your proof that qualcomm play store driver update contributed to turnip?
