60X needs to eliminate the bezels; unnecessary when screen real estate is MUCH more important than sloppy bezels.
Re the Band 8; why even bother calling this "8" because there is NOTHING much new here. A total waste of space with virtually no enhancements or functionality improvements.

This is interesting. Huge battery plus power sipping chip makes this feel like a power bank with smartphone functionality. I wouldn't be surprised if this thing gets 3-day battery life.

GSMArena, if you can get your hands on this phone, please do a battery life test on it!

          I can see S24 ultra with 7000mAh

            it's a china only phone.
there are few hands on in youtube you can watch and find out its ips or tft.
            chipset it's too weak.

They most likely have not got this phone. It's not for me anyway regardless of the screen. I've done a little search of Chinese reviewers and none seem to have detailed info on the screen

DarlingYext, 18 Apr 2023Always on display is a bad idea on anything, but OLED, so t... moreYeah, they're saying it's the first always on display on an LCD. I'm not saying it is an IPS screen but more that we don't really know if the information hasn't been published and the phone is not available for sale yet in China. Never rely on gsmarena specs though. They have mistakes for many many Chinese only phones. I think it would be a good idea for them to get a Chinese member of a team to check the official Chinese specs of Chinese phones they list and also to check some of the details of articles they post because probably around half the articles they are posting are about Chinese phones and launches. Details often get lost in translation

Anonymous, 18 Apr 2023I don't see any problem with IPS LCD. Also, there are ... moreAssuming it's IPS you are right, but the GSMArena specs list and gizmochina list it with TFT, which would be horrible.

Every other website just says it's LCD, which still could mean either IPS or TFT.

Aierlan, 18 Apr 2023Where did you see it was a TFT display? In the past I have... moreAlways on display is a bad idea on anything, but OLED, so that doesn't make much sense. GSMArena specs list it as TFT, but their article lists it as IPS and these 2 technologies are further apart than OLED is compared to IPS.

DarlingYext, 17 Apr 2023Go to your local electronics store and then you can check t... moreWhere did you see it was a TFT display? In the past I have seen some older Honor phones (when they were part of Huawei) list TFT IPS LCD as the screen type in the specs. I dound this explaination below but I don't know if it's correct or not?

'IPS, commonly known as "Super TFT", is a technology upgraded from TFT. It is still a TFT screen in essence, but it is a TFT screen using IPS technology. Compared with ordinary TFT screens, it has the advantages of large viewing angle, accurate color reproduction, no watermark on touch, environmental protection and power saving.'

The screen type for this doesn't seem to be listed on Huawei's official website though. It just says LCD. It also highlights the Always on Display but there is no mention of TFT or IPS.

The first LCD always on display is a little interesting. 1,799rmb ($261) is actually not that bad a price for anyone looking for a long lasting battery that doesn't care much about cameras. Symmetrical dual stereo speakers are also a bonus rather than the typical earpiece second speaker.

                            It enjoyed 60 debuts?
Damn that's a lot of debuts....

Sounds great! No silly camera bump, and the battery is big enough to last all day no matter what. Who cares about fast charging when you don't need to charge at all?

DarlingYext, 17 Apr 2023That display technology.🤢I don't see any problem with IPS LCD. Also, there are people who prefer it over OLED, particularly because of PWM.

I could see myself trying Harmony OS if Huawei makes it possible to unlock the bootloader. I've always had a rooted phone and I would find it very hard to go back to a locked phone.

IPS LCD, Snapdragon 680, 7000mAh battery. If the ohone cannot get at least 150 hours of battery endurance rating, then I don't know what has gone wrong.
