He's the first techtuber to review the first all-AMD Laptop of 2023: Asus TUF A16 with the Ryzen 7735 and the 7600s. The 7600s is the lowest end SKU of RDNA 3 and it's based on the same 6nm as the previous 6000s series and judging from his tests, it's not that far off from the highest end 6000 series laptop GPU: the 6850m XT. Definitely, more than 12-15% that a lot of people are claiming and guesstimating.

Hemedans, 26 Apr 2023Dont move Goalpost you claimed otherwise and failed to back... moreHow is that moving goalpost? He mentioned several times in his videos that they are beta drivers. He wasn't supposed to get that laptop in the first place, yet we are getting super early results. Things could be different when the first Z1E device comes out.

Numbers promised by AMD however are more in line with results from higher-end 5000U series of processors. The Z1 (non-Extreme) barely can keep up with last-gen 6600H, but perhaps Z1 Extreme can turn that chip to dust. Seems interesting that older tech staying quite relevant albeit relegated into lesser position in tech food chain. And that's a win for some kind of customers.

                            "dual issue rdna 3"

Chipsandcheese has good article explaining it

For example 7900Xtx has 61 Tflop in dual issue and 30TFlop without it, while 6900 xt has around 25 Tflop.

Marketing people will use that 61Tflop even though real life jump is 25 to 30 Tflop without Dual issue.

Same here that 8 Tflop they Quote is dual issue, but real world gpu perfomance gape between rdna2 to 3 isnt much. Its cpu where zen 4 has huge advantage over zen 3.

This would be awesome on a small laptop like the Surface laptop go 3
