We already tried to explain to you yet you didn't grasp the concept at all. All reviewers and cultured tech people already know and have highlighted this MANY times in their Sony Xperia reviews since Xperia 1 in 2019 (or 2020 with 1 II, if X1 wasn't niche obvious) that Xperia target market is niche, segmented, and specific to certain people that pursued something that no other smartphone brand have right now. I mean, if you read Xperia 1 IV/5 IV or even more obviously niche/professional like Pro-I or Pro, it's targeted users aren't Redmi/Poco buyers at all, rather Sony Alpha users or those who wants to do more with their phones personally. This is especially the spectrum of Redmi/Poco phones are bigger, more mainstream markets with BBK, Samsung, or just like any smartphone brand in the market and obviously gonna be more bigger and popular than Sony that targeted enthusiasts.
Especially Sony is the last brand in their flagship at least to offer 3.5mm headphone jack, microSDXC expansion slot, notification LED, Sony Alpha-Style camera app and treatment, and other features that basically is dead outside Sony? If we talked about supply and demand, Sony Xperia demand is inelastic, meaning even with price increase, their demand is relatively the same, meaning Sony already successful targeting what they have planned when Xperia were restructured back in 2018 to move to niche market due to those features that now more rare than a Chiron.
And making back to low-end phones? Please be for real. Average Selling Price of an Xperia today is $1000+ and that's Xperia 1 price territory, meaning Sony generated more averaged mean revenue/profit from selling flagship than low-end. I mean, can you explain why Xperia 1 is turning to 5th Generation meanwhile Xperia L (low-end, by your judgement should be the one to be prioritised) is axed 2 years ago with L4 (2020) being the last one and Xperia Ace hasn't gone into sales internationally since original Xperia Ace?

It's basically comparing apples to oranges, so I don't get your point of trying to change what's already established for years now.

Poco and Redmi are more famous than Xperia lol

also in top 70 most popular phone no any single Sony phone... they should release back low end phone to gain users not flagship.

Some sketchy rumours mill (via notebookcheck.net) says Xperia 1/5 lineup will sunset microSD while still retaining 3,5 mm jack. Hopefully the rumours not true, otherwise it would be bummer.

May is gonna be another hectic month for smartphone release.
