They create unnecessary product segmentation to keep features to expensive phones and gouge prices like for example telephoto cam for pixel 7 pro , they (Google) can easily put telephoto in regular 7 for people who prefer compact phones and non curved displays but Google wants you to pay $300 more for fragile curved 7 pro.

Should have sold the 2022 version with Android 12 out of the box globally. I still highly regard the S20 FE as the best affordable Samsung flagship ever made to this day.

Seems like Android manufacturers adding all the disadvantages of the iPhone to their flagships (no headphone jack or sd card slot and $1000 prices) made people go like „might as well get the original then“

We bought redmi note 8 for 8500 inr in 2020.
Exynos s21 fe for 250 usd is not bad.

Anonymous, 06 May 2023Just avoid the crappynos variant!I have had no issues with the Exynos variant of the S21FE so far. I guess I am not a demanding user and buy/accept phones for what they offer. If my expectations were high, I would have gone for the high-end phones. My expectations are dictated by my budget. Within my budget, the S21FE is just right.

I'd rather buy an "old" phone like S21FE from January 2022 at a low price of Rs 32,000 which has flagship-like features, promises 4 OS updates and 5 years of security updates, instead of some other "new" mid-range phone which offers 2 OS updates and 3 years of security updates.
I'm very happy with the S21FE. I charge the phone once or twice a day (I'm always around power supply), play zero games, use it purely for communication, services, social media and internet. The DeX feature is great for me. For my type of use, the S21FE is an ideal phone.
