Just 15-20% more performance after 2 years and bad prices.

    Ngreedia at its finest. LoL.

Lmao 16gb VRAM at 128 hit bus.....💀 Nvidia gone mad.

Even last gen 3060s had 192 but memory interface...

Forget about using 16gb vram on this as 128bit bottleneck even before filling up 8gb on this joke card.

Nvidia is always worth it. Coupled by Intel. Very durable.

Considering I got a 3060 12 GB LHR version for 200$ off from eBay (and there were several more like that there), this feels like a bad deal.

2 identical cards but they're released to market 2 months apart just to double the VRAM? Pretty sure the 16GB variant is an afterthought...

                128bit + 16gb, name a better duo for $500

6800 will mop the floor with it.

Koishi Komeiji, 18 May 2023Starting at $299? Lets wait, look and see on eBay there... moreJust like the fumo resale values, it's insane that 36 bucks just goes into like 100-150q

20% and 15% improvement over 2 years old last generation, nothing impressive in these RTX 40

                      Shadocx, 18 May 2023Knowing the GTX 970 I had launched at 329$, this RTX 4060 i... more970 should be compared with 4070?

Am just glad Both Amd and Intel up their game soon Dedicated gpu will be luxury.

Shadocx, 18 May 2023Knowing the GTX 970 I had launched at 329$, this RTX 4060 i... moreIronically I have that exact card (GTX 970) in my PC right now, lmao.

So nVIDIA is trying to sell the supposedly-called "RTX 4050 Ti" for 300 bucks, "4060" (aka 4060 Ti 8GB) for 400 and "4060 Ti" (aka its 16GB version) for 500 bucks.

The chip shortage is easening but nVIDIA seems to make us think that it still have a major impact.

Starting at $299? Lets wait, look and see on eBay there's more expensive $500 cause of scalpers

Android.Oreo, 18 May 2023Very high prices considering in reality 4060 is actually 40... moreKnowing the GTX 970 I had launched at 329$, this RTX 4060 is actually cheaper.

Ngreedia at it again. The RTX xx6x tier is supposed to be around $200-$250, not $400 for the RTX 4060 and $500 for the RTX 4060Ti. If they were more competitive with the pricing and build, it would've been more like:
                                •RTX 4050 12GB — $150
                                •RTX 4060 16GB — $200
                                •RTX 4060Ti 16GB — $300
                                •RTX 4070 20GB — $450
                                •RTX 4070Ti 20GB — $500
                                •RTX 4080 24GB — $700
                                •RTX 4090 32GB — $1000

Imo that would also allow them to drop in an $850 RTX 4080Ti 24GB.

Also, all of them except for the RTX 4090 which performs like a legend should've had slight core count bumps as well. The RTX 4060 and RTX 4060Ti literally have the same core counts as their predecessors, while the RTX 4070 and RTX 4070Ti have underwhelming performance even though they do have increased core counts. RTX 4080 should get a bump in core count to make sure it's closer to the RTX 4090 and so that the RTX 4070Ti doesn't almost catch up to it with the increased core count.

Very high prices considering in reality 4060 is actually 4050Ti and 4060Ti is actually 4060 non ti which clearly shows in very poor gen on gen performance improvement.

Oh wow. So under 4070, there's no point to upgrade from RTX 30 series, cause there will be no huge gains. Unless you have a 10 series card or older.
