The biggest loser will be the bragging factor of holding an S4, since it will look similar to all other samsung phones. The screen should also be HD at the very least.This, coupled with a quad core, would make a huge seller . It seems that samsung want to leave a sizeable gap once again between the S and the S mini.

But then again, you do have a point. The only thing that you didn't account for, however, is that apple doesn't release about 10 phones with the same design in a single year.

If this sell for $300-$350, it will be a hit. Galaxy S3 mini got very good review from actual users in Amazon market. You can get it now for $270.

the only way this phone will crush the market is by having killer specs. Samsung cannot make another mistake like the Galaxy3 mini. Its a great idea. Not everybody likes huge phones, but if you are going to give us a "Galaxy 4" in a smaller size, please make it as powerful as the regular Galaxy 4.

There was only one change and that was the design profile from the iPhone 3/3gs and the 4. The 4, 4s and the 5 all look very very similar, albeit the 5 is slightly longer. Compared with Samsung's design properties, I see very little difference. It's worked so far for both Apple and Samsung, hence very little change. Simple maths and logistics. Yes, it won't be everyone's cup of tea but that's the way it is. Also, to those harking on about Samsung's use of plastic, well again, not everyone's cup of tea, but Samsung has won phone of the year awards for some reason.
