China is way more advanced in tech than India and it would probably need half a century to catch up to. I am neither Chinese nor Indian but it is what it is.

Some of them are - Display,camera modules,phone Chassis ,PCB, speaker modules, Battery packs, fingerprint scanners, flex cables,vibrator motors, some electrical components like resistors, micro capacitors,chargers etc etc
Its not fake nationalism, it just your grossly outdated knowledge about current manufacturing capabilities of indian electronics manufacturing sector and some visible biases
, In fact as per Realme CEO a few days ago, the average localisation in a indian smartphone is around 30-35% in 2022 compared to 40-45% in a Chinese one compared to 10-15% in a Vietnamese one

We cannot stamp everything as fake nationalism propaganda and be in denial that we can't do anything.
India is not only workforce of agriculture, there are many domains which you missed from S/w, Pharma, Nursing, Doctors and their numbers are highest in the world. Quality vise we were bad under our earlier govt. regime but things are different now.
So, hardwares are the only part left and in next 15 years the picture will be different.
Also, to let you know we do have chips and PCBs developed in house, it is just not catering to consumer products like mobile sensors, mobile cameras, x86 or arm architectures cause the patents are held by other companies.

As per my knowledge indian govt is charging highest import duties on mobile imported from other countries but not charging more on importing of components.
So, all companies are importing components and then doing the assemble part.
Thus made in india.
I know there are some kids who will object my view.
To them, just think and answer - 1) who makes the processors, 2) who makes those different sensors used in so called smartphones, 3) who makes those memory modules, 4) who makes those batteries, 5) who makes those PCB, 6) Who makes those displays, etc. and the big question is WHERE THEY MAKE THOSE COMPONENTS.
Almost every components used in mobiles comes from china, that's for sure.
Other countries like vietnam might have some production capacity but they do not have the scale like china.
China has highest manufacturing capacity including highest workforce of 800 million people.
India has about 400 to 500 million workforce and most of them are in aggriculture related product.
India has around 300 to 500 million 18 - 24 year old young people who are probably playing BGMI or earning money from youtube, that is the true young indian economy.
All desktop and laptop computer parts also belongs to china.
Those who know just don't do vow vow.
Others will just fall prey to the marketing gimmicks and fake nationalism propoganda.

Most of the people commenting here will not have access to the Indian made units yet they still say they won't buy it blah blah.
Some of these might be the ones saying I won't buy phones manufactured in China, a decade ago.
