    Heck, I can't even tell the difference between a 256kbps mp3 and a lossless CD quality (44.1KHz, 16 bit) audio file.

                It has nothing to do with the post. But why doesn't GSM ARENA have a website dedicated only to gatgets? watches, headphones etc etc! I am looking for good headphones and I would like to make comparisons like we do with phones and tablets but there is no website like that

                  What consumers need is an independent standard based on FRAND...
                  LC3 is designed for that and is a part of LE Audio...I heard about 20ms...
                  And 5ms for LC3Plus

                  What Qualcomm want is proprietary to generate patent fees and control wireless audio market.

                    Stoon, 22 Jun 2023Check wikipedia about aptX HD larency it's below 5ms !I've devices with aptx-HD the latency 5ms on wiki isn't true . Realife is about 300ms (latency of device+headphones) , aptx-LL was the only one with latency lower at 100ms real life

                    so if Qcc3081/5181 gonna bring latency down from 50ms to 20ms then real life latency would be less 100ms which good so far while keeping 24bits/96khz

                      Plus I couldn't find their latency figures, so I'm guess their latency would be higher. Which US actually only.more noticeable during gaming.

                      I wish Snapdragon pushed it to 192Hz/24 bits. That would have really helped push the wireless quality to some of the latest pro qudio recording standards, and would help improve sound quality, especially for recordings.

                          aptX HD is already lag free from years ... the bluetooth headphones must support this specific codec (different from adaptive wich still has a moderate latency)
