Will they give 2 years of warranty if customermisunderstands something which onyl technician would know???
      I dont think so.
In other words this selfrepair program is completely useless.
Its like to send person to drive boeing 747 full of civilians from Frankfurt in Germany to Miami in Florida USA because he spent several hours on a game simulation.
This is really bad dream or a nightmare for anyone who willing even try.

allowing us to repair our phones is a good thing but the problem with this type of program is that the quality of the phone is expected to be crap so for me phones makers should focus on the quality instead of having us people fix it for them

Lugia4k, 27 Jun 2023Let’s offer repair parts and manuals for our trash overpric... moreExactly. Right to repair is great, and I 100% support it.
But let's be honest, its obvious that this is damage control since the press phones they gave out are already breaking due to the obvious design flaw, and the reason why every other foldable manufacturer leaves gaps between their screens. Only a matter of time before Google also releases their own cases and screen protectors as well, because they are so desperate to be exactly like Apple.

so nows google itself who sell schematic diagram for $ to technician?

it is very important that there is access to original spare parts, and instructions to open the phone and the child will be able to, on xiaomi I succeeded in replacing the solo, but I'm afraid that the design of the Google Pixel is complicated and in order to get to the replacement of the battery, you need to disassemble half of the phone like Nothing Phone (1) I watched the video, I thought it was difficult)

But not all carriers offer that option, and sometimes when they run out of your current model, they will offer you a side upgrade or even a downgrade if they can.

Let’s offer repair parts and manuals for our trash overpriced device because we know it’s gonna break, instead of using the warranty

We have insurance for flagship phones anyways. You pretty much pay also monthly for it as when you drop your phone and it breaks you basically get new phone. Actually i dont think it's only for flagships but also for middle class. For budget there is no point for the insurance as the phone to cheap and fixing broken screen is probably more expensive then to buy new phone. We even have like internet security insurance or something i can add to my contract that i dont as i prefer some antivirus app for that

Good for the 10 people who bought it
