This is great news !!
I have personal experience with LG phones and their UI rocks. it's simply amazing. Even the design and quality is way better than samsung.
Also, its important to encourage the hard work done by these guys instead of merely falling for the marketing traps of samsung n apple

Our family just bought 2 Optimus G Phones. SAweeet. We love the look and feel of the o.s. ( Auto-Update to 4.1.2 jb :) ) AND the entire LG experience. Plus we lived thru hurricane Sandy and love the fact that AT&T was used by T-Mobile to supply coverage in our part of the N. Y. area. So we switched to AT&T last October. Better coverage, and now, better phones. Oh yes, We're getting the G Pro when its out in a
few Weeks. LG, you ROCK!
