I'm losing faith in this company. Rebrands are bogus.

Jeez MediaTek its all been the old same Cortex A76 again and again. Yeah, agree with they could've at least put an A77 or A78 core. The same Helio G series, which became Dimensity 7xx and here we are again :D

Meanwhile, Qualcomm makes its new processor underclocked for the series below. it's also rebranded.
      Like 8+ Gen 1 becomes 7+ Gen 2 and 695 becomes 4 Gen 1.

The real name of this processor is Dimensity 710 😄

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2023This is 810 renamed with new litography. Oof. Have they lost their minds? Or are the following AMD's footsteps for delivering rebadged chips from yesteryears in 2023?

                  cortex A76 ?? cmon , really ??

so much wrong with A76 for the "future"

Atleast mediatek could have upgraded it to Cortex A78 from cortex A76 instead of creating innumerous iterations of the same chip.

This is promising as an average consumer who can get a new device powering the D6100~ chipset. I hope this won't be a rebranded version, since it's OS update is quite short 18-24 months from now.

One example is the D6020/D6080 were rebranded as D700/D810, and the end-of-life support will be Q1-2025. So it could be Android 15 (or 16 if I dont be a mistake).

This is not midrange, this is ultra budget segment. Midrange mediatek is 7000/8000 series. Though, not supporting at least 4k30 is sad in 2023.

Just pathetic at this point. Is this really the best Mediatek can do in 2023?.
