Because i used mi4i mi5 software was buggy on that era but from release of miui14 xiaomi devices are good enough to consider them as serious option to buy.
Miui 14 is good even on poco and redmi devices.
Also they have forum that you can ask your question and some brands even doesn't have a forum for support.

LOwer quality??? Wheere??? THeir phones are equal and can last as long as any other.
Any low cost phone from any brand is litterary trash good for 2 years. Xiaomi midrangers and flagships can easily last 5 years.
Worse support?? You have no idea.
Tragic UI??? Told you who. Xiaomi giving UI updates even to 5-8 years old devices no other brand can say the same.
Than 10 dolars charger cost 10 maybe in bangladesh. In EU country cost at least 20. Way faster and way better than for example samsung which cost way more and is slower than a retired turtle. That 1 dollar cover cost one dollar in china. In most EU countries at regular vendors you pay 10-20 for that cover. Also you get a screen protector.
Remind us please which better company giving all this in box with phone???
Or you came here just for tragic bashing and proving you really have no clue.

Upscaled full mode instead of u... moreHi res may be inconsistent sometimes, as it stack, but overall you get in most cases the resolution you can use for big print(as example) and its quite close to real camera performance in sense of detail - the same as in full size cameras in bad light conditions where low res loses detail to be useless(stills), but hi res still looks like that low res with decent detail.
Phones are like cameras at bad lighting, if they can do hi res however they are more useful as pro stills than just for vlog.
You could see samples here, take it yourself or see yt videos, not everything is perfect but compared to low res or cameras years before its way way different.

I guess that's why Xiaomi is falling down so fast.
