Samsung is now unequivocally the "go to" brand for customers wanting great specced devices at good value prices be it high end, mid range or budget smartphones. Heck, these figures are even BEFORE the S4 starts its dominance!

It's a fair comparison with Apple if only premium handset sales are considered, as Apple does not sell basic smartphones. Comparison should be Galaxy S series vs Iphone sales. Samsung is winning that one as well, i believe

Anonymous, 26 Apr 2013Nokia will definitely rock with Android. ...sure successBut Android is way too crowded right now. And with Microsoft backing Nokia, they get lots of great benefits. Plus there are plenty of exclusive Lumia apps. WP is also faster, more reliable, cool Live Tiles and looks way better. BTW Nokia won't be able to port their great HERE Maps apps to Android due to Google's policies. So... they're better off with WP.

Nokia is doomed,,,, windows phone sucks and this feedback is from people using lumia range.... Tried lumia 920 and trust me sooo boring and ugly platform compared to IOS and Android. Nokia must adopt Android, or kiss the industry goodbye. R.I.P. nokia

Congrats to Samsung fro being the top dawg in the Mobile industry. Hope you guys will do even better in future :)

I wonder how those people who troll about Nokia isn't even in the top 5 while Nokia is still on the second position. How could this be.....

Big congrats to LG as well. Perhaps Sony and HTC are shown as others but still they have proven how much power they awesomeness they can throw which can be found in their current flagships i.e, Xperia Z and HTC One.

All hail to the Kings, Nokia, Samsung, HTC, Sony...
