Flip 5 is just waterproof while Razr 40 Ultra is certified ip52 dustproof and water rappelling with a better and bigger screen which access any apps on the phone. And you want the Flip 5 to sell more?

No issues whatsoever. Just pre ordered the 5 and getting $800 of trade in for this one. Can't complain at all.

I have a Z Flip4 and I love it! Z Series phones aren't for clumsy, careless people. And they aren't for construction works or anyone who works in hazardous conditions. Get an M Series if you fall into those categories. I wasn't going to get a Z5 but my Z4 is worth $900 trade-in. So, I'll get the Z5 for $100.
If you haven't owned a Z Series, you can't talk trash about them. Chances are you don't even know someone that has one and you read reviews written by iPhone paid columnists.
Foldable are the future. Don't fight it. One day you'll own one and wonder why you ever listened to fake reviews.

Of course it will outsell the previous model as anyone with the previous model or older will have their screen broken and will be nudged to upgrade. None of these things last more than a year. These screens are simply too fragile. Hopefully the new folding mechanism can help.

According to Tom's Guide, the Z Flip5 with the latest chip does NOT surpass the Razr+'s battery life. Looks like Michael Fisher will stick to his beloved Razr+.

Nobody is going to spend quadruple for a phone out the gate just because it folds. It's going to take time for consumers to adjust.
Do you see more Lamborghini's in the street or do you see more Honda's? Does that mean Lamborghini's business is dead and it's not profitable? C'mon now.
The foldable market is growing and your definition of "dead" is just your feeling. It has nothing to do with the past growth or projected growth of foldables.

If Samsung starts to replace the inner display without cost for the user, then I buy the Fold 5. However without that there is no way I ever will get another Samsung mobile.

Most people would choose the iphone 14 plus despite being worse in absolute everything like having a 60hz screen in 2023 just because it’s an iphone, that’s the reality with high end phones

Also yeah,thats the reality with iphones today.
For the same price people will choose base Iphone 15 or even 14 just because its an iphone, compared to S23ultra,vivo x90pro etc.
