Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro get Android 14-based MIUI 14 stable beta

      "Stable Beta"

      What the hell is that supposed to be? It's either Beta or it's Stable. It cannot be both. One invalidates the other!

      That's like saying the condition is New Used. Or that the car has a Manual Automatic Transmission.

            Ouifuf, 18 Aug 2023Tfw xiaomi gets better software support then Sony I remember there was a news last year about Xiaomi having a whole building specially for software updates i guess it's operational now, i follow a telegram channel named MIUI update tracker, and each day i find like 30 new updates on different phones (xiaomi Mi, redmi, poco), i actually have a POCO F3 which got android 13 late last year and each 3 months i get security updates, it's still not monthly of course but it's something.

                From somewhere just few days ago i read that 13 series of the Xiaomi get first updated to Android 14 and MIUI 15 and then come the Poco F5 and Pro for android 14 and miui 15 and then Redmi something as the latest models or so.

                It's weird in this news title as 1ndroid 14 based miui 14 stable beta. Isn't it type or something for the MIUI number ? Should it not be like 15 if we talk about stable beta or anyways beta ?
                When Xiaomi phones are on MIUI 14 for a long time already. My F5 was out of the box with 14.0.5.0 and few days ago i got update that made it to 14.0.6.0

                So based on the news title i would ask is my MIUI a early beta or something ? Thats weird to get beta stage operating system with new phone our of the box

                    poco get striped version miui from xiaomi/redmi
                    poco get close to stock Android..in benchmark the difference quite big..just like poco f5 rebranded from redmi note 12 turbo..has same ram and rom but has difference results
